Jentezen Franklin Daily Devotional – October 25, 2026

If your heart feels a little worn, a little hungry for God, you are in the right place today. Maybe you woke up with worries pressing on your mind—about your family, your health, your job, or the future of our nation. The Lord sees you right where you are, in your home, your car, your office, or sitting alone in the quiet. This devotional is an invitation to breathe again, to lay it all down, and to remember that you are not walking through this day by yourself. God is closer than your next heartbeat, and He is ready to steady your soul, strengthen your faith, and fill you with fresh hope.

Rooted in a Promise

“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” (Isaiah 26:3, NIV) This verse is more than religious poetry; it is a covenant promise from a faithful God. Perfect peace does not mean a life with no problems. It means an anchored heart in the midst of the storm. When your mind keeps circling back to fear, anxiety, and “what ifs,” the peace of God feels far away. But when you deliberately fix your thoughts on who God is—His power, His goodness, His unfailing love—peace begins to guard you like a shield. Today, God invites you to trade your spinning thoughts for a steadfast mind and your panic for His peace.

Walking Through Today with Steadfast Faith

As you move through this Monday in the United States—driving the kids to school, answering emails, caring for aging parents, or just trying to make ends meet—you are not called to survive on spiritual fumes. The Holy Spirit is present and active in the ordinary details of your day. When irritation rises in traffic, when you feel overlooked at work, when bills pile higher than your bank account, that is where faith grows legs. In those moments, whisper, “Lord, I trust You right here.” Faith is not pretending everything is fine; it is choosing to believe that God is working even when feelings scream otherwise. Ask Him to help you respond with grace, to slow your words, to soften your reactions, and to see interruptions as divine appointments instead of inconveniences.

Drawing Near in Faith and Spiritual Hunger

Father, in Jesus’ Name, I draw near to You today. I confess that I need You more than I need answers, more than I need solutions, more than I need anything else. Stir up my faith. Where my heart has grown cold, set it on fire again. Where I have relied on my own strength, teach me to lean into Your presence. Grow me in Your Word—give me a fresh desire to read, to listen, and to obey. I surrender my doubts, my disappointments, and my delays to You. Shape my character, purify my motives, and help me love what You love. Lead me deeper than familiar Sunday faith into a daily, living walk with You that influences every thought, every decision, and every conversation.

Covering Our Homes with God’s Peace

Lord, I lift my family and loved ones to You. You see every strained marriage, every child battling confusion, every parent wondering if they are doing enough. Step into our homes with Your peace. Heal broken communication and soften hard hearts. Let forgiveness flow where there has been hurt and misunderstanding. Surround our children and grandchildren with godly influences and protect them from voices that twist truth. Help us create homes where Your Word is honored, where prayer is normal, and where laughter and grace are abundant. Strengthen single parents, comfort the lonely, and unite families that feel scattered and disconnected. Let Your love be the atmosphere that fills every room.

Health, Strength, and Healing in His Name

Jesus, You are still the Great Physician. I bring my body, my mind, and my emotions to You today. For anyone facing sickness, chronic pain, or frightening diagnoses, stretch out Your healing hand. Guide doctors, nurses, and caregivers with supernatural wisdom. For those walking through depression, anxiety, or emotional exhaustion, speak peace to their inner storms. Restore sleep, renew energy, and calm racing thoughts. Teach us to steward our bodies with wisdom—help us make better choices, get needed rest, and listen when You prompt us to slow down. Let Your resurrection power flow through every system of our bodies, and may our health bear witness that You are our Healer and Sustainer.
