Steven Furtick Daily Devotional – October 25, 2026

If today feels heavy, complicated, or just ordinary, you are not alone. God sees you right where you are—between bills and emails, family responsibilities and quiet fears you rarely say out loud. This is not just another Monday on the calendar; this is a day your Father has already stepped into, a day He intends to fill with His presence, power, and peace. As you read this devotional and lean into prayer, let your heart breathe again. You don’t have to hold everything together. You just need to place everything in His hands.

Anchored in a Promise That Does Not Move

“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” (Exodus 14:14, NIV) Israel stood trapped between the Red Sea and Pharaoh’s army, convinced their story was over. Instead, God used what looked like a dead end to display His power. Being “still” doesn’t mean doing nothing—it means dropping the panic, quieting the spiral of fear, and choosing to trust that God is already working. Today, where you feel cornered, God is not confused or late. He is fighting for you in ways you cannot see yet.

When Your Faith Feels Thin but God Is Still Faithful

Some days faith doesn’t feel like a roar; it feels like a whisper: “God, please don’t let go of me.” That whisper matters. Faith isn’t measured by the volume of your confidence but by the One you cling to. When the news cycle is loud, when bank accounts look small, when your body feels tired, or the marriage feels strained, you can still choose a different narrative: “My God is with me in this.” Today, talk to God in the middle of real life. Invite Him into your commute, your kitchen, your meeting, your anxiety. Ask the Holy Spirit to interrupt your negative thoughts with gentle reminders of God’s goodness. Take one practical step: speak a short promise over your day—“The Lord is my shepherd,” “God is for me,” or “Jesus is with me”—every time you feel stress rise. Over time, those tiny choices will reshape your inner world.

Drawing Closer to God in the Ordinary Moments

Father, strengthen my faith today. I admit that I don’t always feel strong, and sometimes I question what You are doing. But right now, I choose to trust You again. Grow my roots deeper so I’m not tossed around by every fear and feeling. Teach me to hear Your voice above the noise. Help me to value Your presence more than my plans and Your Word more than my worries. Ignite a fresh hunger in me for prayer, Scripture, and worship. Let my relationship with You become personal, alive, and real—not just something I believe in on Sundays, but something I live in every day. Give me courage to obey You even when it costs me comfort. I surrender my timeline, my expectations, and my need to control, and I invite You to lead me step by step.

Covering Our Homes with God’s Peace

Lord, I lift my family and loved ones to You. You know every story, every tension, every unspoken ache. Bring Your peace into our homes—peace that calms arguments, softens hard hearts, and restores conversations that have grown cold. Heal broken trust. Protect our children and grandchildren from confusion, fear, and harmful influences. Surround our homes with Your presence so that when we walk through the door, we sense Your love and safety. Strengthen marriages, mend relationships between parents and children, and unite our families in forgiveness and grace. Let our homes be places where Your name is honored and where kindness and encouragement come easily.

Grace for Our Bodies, Minds, and Emotions

God, You see every ache, diagnosis, and hidden battle. I pray for health, strength, and healing—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Touch weary bodies today with new energy. Guide doctors, therapists, and caregivers with wisdom and compassion. For those battling anxiety, depression, or burnout, breathe fresh life and hope into their hearts. Break the power of shame and isolation. Give us the humility to ask for help and the wisdom to rest when we need it. Let our bodies be temples of Your Spirit, our minds guarded by Your peace, and our emotions steadied by Your truth. Where pain has lingered, release Your healing power and give grace to endure while we wait.
