Andrew Wommack Daily Devotional – October 14, 2026: Standing Steady in a Shaking World
If your heart feels a little tired today, you are not alone. Many believers across America are waking up with questions about the future, concerns about finances, health struggles, and burdens for their families. Yet right here, right now, the Holy Spirit is whispering to your heart: “You are not facing this day alone.” God has gone ahead of you into October 14, 2026. He already knows what you will face, and He has already prepared grace, strength, and provision for every moment. Today’s devotional invites you to anchor your soul in God’s unshakable Word, renew your trust in His goodness, and step into this day with quiet confidence and bold faith.
Anchored by the Word When Feelings Waver
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8, ESV) In a world where everything seems to change overnight—prices, policies, people’s opinions—this verse is like solid rock under our feet. Jesus is not moody, unpredictable, or unreliable. The same Lord who healed the sick, calmed storms, forgave sinners, and multiplied loaves is the same Jesus who lives in you today. His character has not changed, His promises have not expired, and His love has not cooled down. When fear tries to rise, let this verse answer it: “My Savior is still the same, and His Word still stands over my life.”
Walking Out Faith in Ordinary Moments
Spiritual growth is not just about big conferences, mountaintop worship nights, or emotional breakthroughs. It happens in the ordinary rhythms of a Wednesday in October—when you choose to forgive instead of rehearse the hurt, when you turn off the noise and whisper, “Lord, I need You,” when you open your Bible for five honest minutes instead of scrolling for another hour. Today, invite Jesus into your commute, your lunch break, that awkward conversation, and the quiet spaces of your heart. Ask Him, “Show me where You are working in my life right now.” Faith becomes real when we trust God in the small, uncelebrated moments no one else sees but Him.
Drawing Near in Faith and Trust
Father, today I choose to trust You more than my emotions, more than the headlines, and more than my past experiences. Strengthen my spirit to believe Your Word even when circumstances seem to contradict it. Deepen my roots in Christ so I am not tossed by every new fear or opinion. Teach me to listen for Your voice and respond quickly when You lead. Where my faith feels weak, breathe new courage. Where I have doubted, meet me with mercy. Let the truth of who You are—faithful, kind, powerful, and near—reshape the way I think, feel, and live. Grow me into someone who reflects Jesus in every season.
Covering Our Homes With God’s Peace
Lord, I lift my family and loved ones before You. You see every tension, every unspoken hurt, and every anxious thought. I ask You to flood our home with Your peace. Heal relationships that have been strained by misunderstandings and harsh words. Guard our marriages with Your love, protect our children from confusion and fear, and surround our extended family with Your grace. Let forgiveness flow where there has been offense. Give us patience, wisdom, and gentleness as we speak to one another. Make our home a sanctuary of Your presence—a place where Your Word is honored, Your name is spoken with reverence, and Your joy fills the atmosphere.
Health, Healing, and Inner Strength
Jesus, You are still the Healer. I bring my body, mind, and emotions to You today. For every pain, chronic condition, diagnosis, or hidden struggle, I invite Your healing power to work in me. Guide doctors, treatments, and daily choices. Strengthen my immune system, restore my energy, and calm my nervous system. Where anxiety or depression has tried to take hold, speak “Peace, be still” to my inner world. Help me to care for my body as Your temple—with wisdom, discipline, and gratitude. Let Your resurrection life push back sickness, fatigue, and hopelessness, and fill me with fresh strength to serve You.
Work, Finances, and Daily Provision
Father, You know every financial need and every pressure I feel regarding my job, my bills, and my future. I surrender my work
