Craig Groeschel Daily Devotional – October 11, 2026

Today, right where you are, God sees you. He knows the weight you’re carrying, the questions you don’t say out loud, and the battles you’re fighting behind your smile. As you pause for this daily devotional, my prayer is that you’ll sense the Lord drawing near—reminding you that you are not alone, not forgotten, and not stuck. Whatever you’re facing, God is already there in the middle of it, working, redeeming, and leading you forward one step at a time.

Anchored in God’s Promise Today

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5–6, NIV) This verse invites you to release the pressure of figuring everything out. God never asked you to understand every detail; He asked you to trust Him. When life twists in unexpected ways, this promise says that as you yield your plans, your fears, and your timelines to God, He will faithfully direct your path. Your next step may not be clear, but your Shepherd is.

Walking by Faith in the Middle of Uncertainty

Maybe today feels confusing. A relationship is strained, your finances are tight, or a door you wanted to walk through has stayed firmly shut. Instead of reading your circumstances as evidence that God has left you, view them as an invitation to deeper faith. Trust isn’t proven on the mountaintop; it’s forged in the valley. When you choose to worship instead of worry, to pray instead of panic, and to obey instead of retreat, your heart grows stronger. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you respond in faith: send that encouraging text, forgive that offense, open your Bible when you’d rather scroll, and speak gratitude out loud. Small steps of obedience become powerful seeds of spiritual growth.

Drawing Near for Fresh Faith and Growth

Father, today we come to You with open hearts, hungry for more of You. Increase our faith where doubt has crept in. Ignite a fresh passion for Your Word and Your presence. Teach us to trust You when we don’t see immediate answers. Help us surrender our plans, our schedules, and even our expectations to Your perfect will. Holy Spirit, correct what needs correcting, encourage what feels weak, and mature us in love, humility, and boldness. May we grow to look more like Jesus in how we think, speak, and respond. Let our faith not be a Sunday-only faith, but a daily walk of confidence in who You are and what You have promised.

Covering Our Families in God’s Peace

Lord, we lift our families to You. We pray over spouses, children, parents, and every person You’ve placed in our circle. Where there is tension, bring peace. Where there is distance, restore connection. Heal wounds from harsh words and past mistakes. Protect our homes from division, bitterness, and spiritual attack. Fill our houses with Your presence, Your joy, and Your Word. Help us to love one another with patience, kindness, and grace. Teach us to listen more, to assume the best, and to pray for each other daily. Let our families be testimonies of Your faithfulness and living pictures of Your love to a watching world.

Health, Healing, and Renewed Strength

God, we bring to You every ache, diagnosis, and hidden pain. For those battling sickness, chronic conditions, or emotional exhaustion, stretch out Your healing hand. You are Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals. Strengthen immune systems, restore energy, and bring relief where there has been long-term suffering. Calm anxious thoughts and racing hearts. Lift the heavy cloud of depression and replace it with hope and clarity. Give wisdom to doctors, therapists, and caregivers. Help us honor You with our bodies through rest, wise choices, and gratitude. Remind us that even in weakness, Your strength is made perfect, and that nothing in our lives is beyond Your touch.

Inviting God into Work and Provision

Father, we invite You into our work and finances. For those who feel stuck in their job, open new doors and new ideas. For those searching for employment, provide opportunities that fit their gifts and needs. Give us favor with supervisors, coworkers, clients, and customers. Protect us from burnout, compromise, and discouragement. Teach us to handle money with wisdom, generosity, and integrity. Break the chains of fear
