Anchored in the Word Today

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5–6, NIV)

These verses call us away from self-reliance and into surrendered trust. When life feels confusing, our natural instinct is to figure everything out, to hold on tighter, or to worry more. But God invites us to trust Him with “all” our heart—not just the parts that feel manageable. When we submit every area of life to Him—our schedule, our relationships, our finances, our emotions—He promises to straighten the path before us. It may not look like the shortcut we hoped for, but it will always be the safest, wisest, and most loving way forward.

Maybe it’s forgiving someone who hurt you, turning off a distraction to spend five extra minutes in prayer, or encouraging a coworker who seems down. Covering Our Homes With God’s Peace

Lord Jesus, I lift my family and loved ones before You. Wrap every home represented here in Your peace. Where there has been tension, bring understanding. Where there has been distance, draw hearts back together. Heal old wounds, soften hard places, and restore what the enemy tried to divide.

Protect our marriages, our children, our friendships, and every covenant relationship You’ve given us. Let our homes be places where Your presence is welcomed—where laughter returns, where kindness replaces harsh words, and where forgiveness flows freely. Give us wisdom to speak life instead of criticism, to listen with compassion, and to love one another the way You have loved us—unconditionally and sacrificially.

Health, Healing, and Renewed Strength

Heavenly Father, I bring my body, mind, and emotions to You. You are the Lord who heals. I ask for Your healing power to touch every area of sickness, pain, or weakness. Strengthen my immune system, calm every anxious thought, and restore balance where stress has taken its toll.
