Start Your Week with God, Not Stress

Monday mornings can feel heavy.

A new week begins with responsibilities, decisions, and expectations. Sometimes, before the day even starts, your mind is already full — thinking about everything that needs to be done.

But before you step into the busyness…

Pause.

Because the most important thing you can do today is not to rush — but to begin with God.

You don’t have to carry this week alone.
God is already ahead of you.

A Morning Prayer for a New Week

Heavenly Father, as I begin this new week, I come before You with humility and trust.

Thank You for giving me life, for sustaining me, and for allowing me to see another Monday. Before anything else fills my mind, I choose to place this entire week into Your hands.

I don’t want to rely on my own strength, my own understanding, or my own plans. I want to walk under Your direction.

Go before me, Lord.

Prepare my path.
Align every detail.
Open the right doors and close the ones that are not meant for me.

Trusting God to Open the Right Doors

Father, there are opportunities I desire, answers I am waiting for, and situations I want to resolve.

But more than anything… I want Your will.

If there is a door meant for me this week — open it clearly and at the right time. Give me peace to recognize it.

And if there are doors that are not good for me, close them with mercy.

Help me trust that every closed door is not rejection… but protection.

 Peace Over Anxiety This Week

Lord, I surrender every worry about this week.

Every pressure.
Every expectation.
Every unknown.

Do not let my mind be controlled by anxiety before anything even happens.

Instead, fill me with Your peace.

Give me a calm mind, a steady heart, and the confidence that You are already taking care of what I cannot see.

 Guidance in Every Decision

Father, guide me in every decision I will face.

Give me wisdom when I need clarity.
Give me patience when I need to wait.
Give me discernment to recognize what comes from You.

Protect me from rushing ahead or making choices out of fear or pressure.

Let every step I take be aligned with Your will.

Cover My Life and My Family

Lord, I place my home, my family, and my loved ones into Your hands.

Protect us.
Guide us.
Fill our home with peace.

Where there is stress, bring calm.
Where there is confusion, bring clarity.
Where there is weariness, bring renewal.

Let Your presence cover everything that concerns me.

 Bless the Work of My Hands

Father, I also bring my work and responsibilities before You.

You know every task, every challenge, and every expectation I will face.

Go before me in my work.
Give me strength, focus, and balance.

Establish the work of my hands and remove anything that does not carry Your blessing.

 Surrendering Control and Trusting God

Today, I release control.

I surrender the need to understand everything.
I surrender the need to fix everything.
I surrender the fear of what might happen.

I trust You.

Because You already know this week.
You already see every detail.
And You are already working.
