Thankful Thursday Blessings
My God, on this new day, I thank You for the precious gift of life. Thank You for allowing me to wake up once more, renewed and strengthened by Your comforting rest. I have no words great enough to express my gratitude, because You give me breath again.
Today, I can feel Your presence in my heart—a peace that fills my soul and inspires me to keep moving forward. I place before You all my plans, dreams, goals, and desires. If it is Your will, help me achieve them.
I also lift up all those who are in need of Your companionship—those who feel alone or are trapped in the darkness of depression. Let them know that You are with them. I believe, Lord, that You hear my prayers, and at this very moment, You are pouring out Your blessings upon me.
Take my life, Lord. Lead me always to where You are. Never let me drift away from Your side, for without You, I am nothing. You alone give meaning to my existence. You are the reason I live, the reason I move, and the strength that carries me through every trial.
Grant me patience to endure the suffering and challenges that life may bring. I know that not every moment will be filled with joy, but as long as You remain with me, I am ready to face any difficulty. Even when I feel weak, I will take up my cross, walk the path before me, and hold tightly to Your hand—trusting that Your reward will come in Your perfect time.
Blessed and praised be Your name, Lord, for filling me with Your love. You are always by my side, comforting me when I suffer, guiding me when I am lost, and surrounding me with peace. Thank You for every experience You allow me to live today and for all that is yet to come.
Help me see the good in every situation, to learn from my mistakes, and to cherish each defining moment in my life. Fill me again with Your love and make me a better person. Today, I dedicate myself to doing Your will. May my life reflect the faith I profess—because I know that faith without works is dead.
Lord, I offer You the hardest work I will do today—for all those who live in poverty and for the unemployed, that they may soon find a source of sustenance and hope.
Have mercy on me, my God, have mercy—for my soul takes refuge in You. I seek shelter in the shadow of Your wings until the storms pass. (Psalm 57)
