Abraham: NATURAL WEIGHT LOSS – Esther & Jerry Hicks
Abraham on Natural Weight Loss
As I listen, I’m thinking, “Okay, I’ve got my relationships, my money flow, and life is good in many ways. Now, I want to focus on how to get my body aligned.” What I’ve realized is that, for most of my life, no matter what I did, it always seemed to get worse. I’ve tried every diet, taken every pill, read every book, and yet… nothing worked.
Let’s break this down. I’ve followed every diet, but which way was I pointing? Upstream. I’ve taken pills, and what direction were they pointing? Upstream. I’ve read countless books, pointing me upstream. I’ve even bought all kinds of workout equipment—again, all of it pointing upstream. But here’s the good news: all of this focus and effort has brought me to a realization about what I truly desire.
When you really want something, you’re focused, and even though it might feel like you’re not getting it, there’s something important in that desire. It means your energy is flowing strongly, but it’s pointed upstream. When you want something badly and you don’t let yourself have it, you feel the tug of that desire. And that tug tells you that your vibrational energy is pulling in the wrong direction.
The positive side of this feeling is that it shows you’re in the process of manifesting what you want. The stronger the feeling, the more intense the energy. When you finally turn your focus downstream, everything will begin to flow effortlessly, and the results will follow.
Remember, different people have different responses to food. You might see others eating more but maintaining their ideal body. That’s because their vibrational energy is aligned, and metabolism is just a term we use for that balance. When your energy is flowing upstream, your body holds onto things it doesn’t need. You’ll find that as you shift your focus downstream, your metabolism will improve naturally.
Resistance is what causes all health issues. Heart disease, strokes, and illnesses—whether minor or severe—are all about the energy being pointed upstream. Recently, doctors have started to recognize the stress factor in diseases, which all stem from imbalance. The term “dis-ease” really captures this concept.
Now, if you really want something, the energy behind it moves quickly. But when you try too hard, it’s a clear sign you’re focused upstream. It’s not about restricting yourself to certain foods. It’s about aligning your energy to believe that you can achieve your goal without the struggle.
As you start aligning with ease, things will change. New ideas will come, recipes will be shared, and you’ll discover products that help. Soon, you’ll notice that weight begins to come off, and you’ll feel better. Your energy will increase, and you’ll naturally want to move more. Eventually, you’ll step on the scale, after not checking it for days, and find you’ve lost 15 pounds—without all the effort you once thought was necessary. You’ll realize that it was all about finding the flow.
