Thankful SUNDAY blessings June 16, 2024

May this prayer bring peace, comfort, and blessings to you and your family on this Thankful Sunday.

Dear Heavenly Father,

On this beautiful Sunday, June 16, 2024, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude and praise. Thank You for the gift of this day, a time to rest, reflect, and draw closer to You. We are deeply grateful for Your constant love, mercy, and the countless blessings You pour into our lives.

Lord, I lift up my friend and their family to You today. I ask for Your divine protection over them. Surround them with Your loving care and keep them safe from all harm. Guide their steps today and in the days to come, filling their hearts with Your wisdom, peace, and understanding.

Bless this family with good health, joy, and prosperity. Provide for their needs and help them to trust in Your provision. May their home be a sanctuary of love, compassion, and harmony, where Your presence is always felt.

Help them to communicate with love and patience, to support one another through life’s challenges, and to celebrate each other’s successes with joy. Strengthen their bonds and deepen their faith, drawing them ever closer to You and to each other.

Grant them the grace to face any difficulties with courage and to find peace in Your presence. Fill their hearts with hope and joy, and let Your love shine through them in all that they do.

As they gather together on this day of rest and worship, may they find peace and rejuvenation, reconnecting with each other and with You. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your unfailing love. We trust in Your perfect plan for their lives and rest in the assurance of Your constant presence.

God of love, I embark on a new day with the assurance that I am a blessed person. Lord of my life, my trust is placed in You, for from the moment I open my eyes, I can feel Your love embracing and enveloping me. Thank You because feeling all Your love gives me strength in my heart to keep moving forward.

Allow everything I undertake today to have a worthy end according to Your will. Give me the light to see the good within the bad and not let myself be swayed by the moment. I place everything I have and everything I am in Your hands, so that today I may be able to be attentive to everything You give me, which is a blessing for my life.

Thank You, Heavenly Father, because in the midst of my falls, it is You who most trusts and believes in me. You are the one who extends a hand to me in moments of despair, You are my light when I am submerged in darkness. Thank You for working throughout my life, for the way I have discovered that I can love and care for those I cherish most. Thank You from my heart today for always giving me the possibility to change, to approach people with a clean heart, to give them the best of me.

Thank You for being so compassionate with me, I love and praise You eternally because You are worthy of receiving all honor, praise, and adoration. I ask that You let me experience Your presence, that You take me in Your hands and hold me in Your warm paternal embrace. Mold my heart and make me an instrument of Your will; I love and trust in Your power, which is great and incomparable.

My Lord, guide me, direct me, and strengthen me with Your Holy Spirit, making me capable of feeling the joy of celestial happiness. I know that nothing is impossible for You, that my life, when in Your hands, is transformed and gains meaning. My venerable God, I dedicate myself completely to Your service and give You lordship over my life so that You can make use of me and everything that belongs to me.

Thank You for being mindful of my needs and thus inviting me to be mindful of the needs of others. Our Lord, the sunrise speaks of You, the rays of the sun, the color of the clouds, the blue of the sky, everything created by You is wonderful. Thank You for letting me feel that language of love; I know that You are present in every small thing and that everything has meaning in its place and time.

Praised be You, beloved Father, for the call You make today to continue striving in life. I deeply thank You for being my companion and strength in the most difficult moments. Lord, I thank You for this beautiful morning, now it seems more wonderful because I was able to talk to You. From the rays of the sun that touch my body to the wind that enters my lungs, they make it clear that we should be happy today, for there is no reason to be filled with bitterness when we have the hand of the almighty God.

My Lord, may I behave according to Your will this new day to advance on the path of holiness. Amen. I will be a shoulder of support for those who need my attentive listening, so that God, through me, brings His comfort. “Blessed is the one who considers the poor! In the day of trouble, the Lord delivers him; the Lord protects him and keeps him alive; he is called blessed in the land; You do not give him up to the will of his enemies.” – Psalm 40. May the Lord bless us this day.
