The Yom Kippur Beast

The Yom Kippur Beast #2293. One of the most mysterious rituals of Yom Kippur holds the key to overcome anything in your life that needs to be overcome. How to apply it for freedom, release, and victory.

Messiah was to be crucified. Roman soldiers took thorns, wove them into a crown for His head to mock, torture and humiliate Him. We know the crown of thorns as a horrible thing, but there’s another side to it. In Genesis, the curse of the fall is epitomized by thorns. “The ground shall bear thorns for you.” So why did Messiah wear a crown of thorns? Because He was becoming the King of the Curse. The power of Messiah is so strong that He can even make thorns into a crown. He can take your sorrows and wounds and make them beautiful and glorious. Give Him every part of your life even the worst part, and thank Him for it. Because even the hard things, in His grace, will be used for your good. He is a King that not only wears a crown of thorns but wears the thorns that are turned into a crown. If you follow Him, then all the things in your life that make you say, “Why God?” will be turned around. He will take your thorns and weave them into a crown of glory.

Hey, most believers know about atonement, but they don’t realize that atonement carries through your life.
You must do something throughout your life. And that is the scapegoat first.
There’s the power of confession as we see.
And that is again that you don’t accept that that sin has to be part of you that you separate it, call it for what it is.
Renounce it, unacceptable, bring it to the light, it’s like the mold.
You know, it’s a mold principle, you know, in your refrigerator, you got probably if you leave a dish too long and you do, you’ve got mold.
Why? And it thrives in the dark, you know, mold thrives in the darkness.
But you know, when you take it into the light sunlight, it it gets, it stops and that’s just like sin.
When you hide it, it grows. When you bring it to the light, it can’t hold up so crucial.
To be honest to God with everything, be honest as everything, lift it up to God don’t hide anything.
And again onto that, what it confesses it on, not onto a table, not onto a pulpit, confesses it onto a goat.
Why is that important because goats have legs. It means the sin is not to stay around there.
The key. And that goes to the next thing, what are they to do?
It says you must release it, release it. When I went to synagogue.
Uh growing up uh before I knew the Lord, I went out and I, and even after I knew the Lord, I accompanied my father to see it and, and I went, and I was more striking after when I went there on the day of Yom, the thing is, I mean, there’s liturgy and there’s, but you didn’t sense in the Bible.
See when this happened, there was release. At the end, you were released of your sins.
You knew your sins were gone.
But there was no sense of that in the synagogue because there was no, there hasn’t been an a tall man or a scapegoat for 2000 years.
There’s a reason for that most but many believers, they just live in the sin like that.
And there’s no real release and you’re still bound and you never follow through that.
God has part of salvation is release. Yom Kippur ends with release. That is a crucial verb for your life.
You need a release in your life. Release and you shall be released.
God is the God of freedom. It says God has called you for freedom, not for bondage.
So the power of God is released.
Those who are bound, release if you’re bound you, there is a release, the blood of Messiah is linked to release the power of releasing in your life, the power of young.
And by the way, if you’re not forgiving somebody, you’re not releasing them and that means you’re not gonna be released.
If you forgive them, release them and you shall be released, forgive, you shall be forgiven released.
Actually in the Greek of, of the of forgive is linked to also let go send away you’re free.
So there’s a to in the holy of holy or the sprinkled there, but it must lead to action in our life and notice, you know, the the the whole thing there that happened in the holy of holy, nobody saw it.
But then what happened here happened in the court outright in regular. It’s like that’s the holy book.
You gotta take what is holy and apply it to every part of your daily life, the power of release.
And, and so it also the word in Hebrew means to literally send away.
You need, you know, God has released you by the atonement, but you need to take that and release your sin.
See a lot of you release a lot of have not done that and you have to keep on releasing it.
You know, the goat is called again means the goat of escape, departure, leaving sin has to God’s will is that sin or bondage or gloom or whatever that is ha is to be departing from your life.
You’ve got sin, of course you do.
There’s nobody here that doesn’t deal with sin, but there’s a way of departing.
God wants it, wants it going. Not just sitting. Messiah died for this. We are forgiven in Messiah.
And so now that we are forgiven, ok?
But now we must send away that which should have no place in our life if you keep it as your sin.
He said, they said according to this, he took your sins. That means it belong, your sin belongs to him.
It’s his property. If you hold on to it, you’re in possession of stolen property.
So therefore, you’re stealing. What is his?
So one of the words there that it says he he cast on the goat was the word or which also means condemnation, even condemnation, you lay it, release it on your life.
You are not to live in condemnation. You have to send it away.
You have to send it away. Why?
Because condemnation like a goat will hang out with you unless you send it away.
And so so many believers are living in a sense of condemnation. Why?
Because you never sent it away.
And then that other word we said, which means perversity or moral evil, past wrongs, failures.
That’s also like a goat. You are to say, you know, some people say I can’t, I can’t forgive myself.
Oh God has, but I can’t forgive myself Well, what is that? What are you saying? Well, you’re really humble.
No, you’re not humble. You are prideful because you’re saying you’re holier than God. God can forgive you.
But you can’t are your standards higher than God. Send the goat away. You have to say guilt.
This is not part of my life by the blood of Jesus. If you don’t confess it.
Yeah, you, you, you get guilt, you have guilt.
But when you confess it, the guilt is to go what you’re to send it away.
Now, we had a dog growing up named Pudgie and she would escape whenever she could.
She whatever the door was open and, and no one they, she ran out, escaped and she’d be out the whole day and one day she escaped and our neighbors were having a barbecue big steak.
They were preparing for their guests. They were having guests over, Pudgie saw what was going on.
She appraised the situation, went over to the barbecue and took it away, ran away with it, ran away with the barbecue and they came to us very mad.
The, the neighbors were very mad and that point we, we, we, we don’t, it’s not our dog. We don’t.
Our dog would never do that. Pudgie never do that.
So with a goat with your sins, once you lay it on the goat, you have to tell it goodbye and I have nothing to do with it.
It is not my sin anymore. If I have given it to Jesus, you say goodbye.
I mean, if I keep doing it, it’s mine and then I give it to him. It’s not mine anymore.
You say goodbye. You don’t live with a goat.
You don’t live with condemnation anymore than you live with a goat. You’re haunted by your past.
You’re not supposed to be the past is what you send away with Jesus with a scapegoat to find out how you can receive more of Jonathan’s teachings, to receive special free gifts or get in touch.
