The Sure Keys To Fulfilling Your Calling

Jonathan Cahn reveals the Keys to finding your purpose, Fulfilling your Calling, & completing your Mission.

The key to fulfilling your purpose in life is the same today as it was for the Apostle Paul. It begins with one foundational truth: you have a calling. I have a calling. Every believer does.

Paul lived his life with one clear goal—to fulfill the calling God placed on his life. He said, “By all means, I will use everything so that I might lead many to the Messiah.” No circumstance ever dictated his devotion. He was imprisoned, persecuted, and resisted at every turn, yet nothing stopped him from pursuing God’s mission for his life.

There is no situation that can stop your calling—unless you let it. Paul once declared, “One thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and pressing forward to what lies ahead, to the upward call of God.” He always moved forward, driven by purpose. He didn’t just know his mission—he lived it.

Paul stepped out in faith again and again. He faced trials, was stoned, imprisoned, and slandered—even by fellow believers. But he never gave up. He kept pressing on, saying, in essence, “It doesn’t matter what others say about me. I stand before God—and I move forward.”

Even at the end of his life, Paul remembered his calling as if it had just happened. He said, “That I may know Him.” He never considered himself as having arrived; he kept reaching for more of God, more of his purpose, and more of his calling.

And when his race was over, Paul didn’t face death with fear. He said with confidence, “I have fought the good fight. I have run the race. I have finished the course.” He didn’t just end his life—he completed his mission.

So, what about you?

If you are born again, then yes—you have a mission. Whether or not you feel it or fully understand it right now, God has placed a divine purpose over your life. Paul prayed, “Live in a manner worthy of the high calling you have received.” Your life is not random. Your life is your mission.

Your calling is unique. No one else has the exact same purpose as you. Yet, there are key aspects of this calling that are true for every believer:
