Thankful Monday Blessings

This is a prayer for the new week: Dear God, thank You so much for opening my eyes and allowing me to see another week. I woke up and decided that I won’t stress over things that are out of my control. People will be people, jobs will be jobs, but the one thing I know for sure is that You will be God and You’ve got me. Your word in Psalm 48:14 says, “For this God is our God forever and ever. He will be our guide even to the end.” This week, I’m leaving the past behind and embracing the fresh start that You’ve given me. I’m so thankful that you’re transforming my life and giving me a hope and a future. And when I have moments of pressure, I will lift my eyes to the hills and know with all of my heart where my help comes from. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

My soul praises You, Lord, and my spirit rejoices in Your presence. As I behold the beauty of this new morning, I recognize that You are near. Thank You, Lord, for blessing me unconditionally and for allowing me to feel Your fatherly love in every moment of my life. I acknowledge that You use everyday situations and the people around me to show me that You are a God full of love and mercy.

May I see You in those in need, and by Your grace, may I become an instrument of comfort and love in their lives. Let my being reflect Your goodness, and may my actions reveal Your mercy, so that those around me may feel Your peace and presence through me.

I place this day in Your hands. May my only desire be to feel Your love and to strive for the true happiness that only You can provide. Lord, I ask that You fulfill in me the plans of Your divine Word, and may my actions serve as a living testimony of Your loving presence. Let only words of blessing and comfort flow from my lips. Do not allow me to fall into criticism or let my words be harsh or offensive. Protect me from imprudence that may hurt those around me, and help me to always be aware of the power of my words.

Lord, I do not want to be a slave to anything that separates me from You. Free me from any bond that prevents me from acting according to Your love and Word. I ask You to open my eyes to see the needs of others and inspire me to share Your mercy through acts of generosity.

I open the doors of my life and mind to the divine action of the Holy Spirit. Transform my entire being, Lord. Take my mind and guide my thoughts so that every idea and decision I make aligns with Your will. Make my steps firm, secure, and peaceful, for my trust is fully placed in You. Fill my heart with Your love and peace, so that even amid difficulties, I may feel Your presence giving me strength and hope.
