Prayer for the day

My heart’s cry is heard—thank You, Lord Jesus!

Prayer of the Day: Father, please guide my tongue and guard my words so that the things I say will reflect Your love, wisdom, and power. In the wonderful name of Jesus I pray, amen.

Heavenly Father,

On this Holy Saturday, we pause to reflect on the day that your son, Jesus Christ, lay in the tomb. We remember the sadness and grief that his disciples and loved ones must have felt, as they mourned his death and waited in uncertainty.

As we contemplate this time of waiting and preparation, we ask that you help us to trust in your love and faithfulness. May we remember that even in the darkest of times, you are always with us, guiding us, and holding us close.

We pray for those who are struggling with grief, loss, or uncertainty, that they may find comfort and hope in your presence. May they know that you are a God of compassion and mercy, who understands our pain and walks with us through every trial.

As we prepare for the celebration of Easter, we ask that you help us to be mindful of the sacrifice that was made for our salvation. May we be inspired to live lives that honor and reflect the love of Christ, who gave his life for us.

Thank you for the gift of your son, and for the hope and new life that he brings. May we embrace this time of waiting with faith, knowing that the dawn of Easter morning is just ahead.

In Jesus’ name, we pray.

May the Father in Heaven give to your heart a greater sense of His love for you this Saturday morning. And may you walk along each step today with joy in your soul.

How blessed is this Saturday morning! May you bask in His goodness for you and may you rejoice in your salvation.

Good Morning! May this Saturday morning bring to your life the love of Jesus and His peace. May you find strength in Him, always!

May the comforts of God fill your heart today. May you know that He is with you each step along the way.

May your Saturday morning be filled with love and peace. May you enjoy all that the Lord has for you today!

Heavenly Father, I thank You for this Saturday! As the weekend begins I ask that You would watch over me and my family. Protect as we go out and let Your joy be our strength. Let us become attentive to Your still small voice and gentle nudges. In Jesus’ name, amen!

Holy Spirit, I ask that this Saturday would be a day of rest. Give me peace in my heart and mind. Help to trust you with the situations in my life that I can’t control. Help me to break off worry, and striving. So that I can fully hand over every area of my life to You. In the powerful name of Jesus, Amen and amen!

 

It’s Veteran’s Day
Dear Lord,
Today we honor our veterans,
worthy men and women
who gave their best
when they were called upon
to serve and protect their country.
We pray that you will bless them, Lord,
for their unselfish service
in the continual struggle
to preserve our freedoms, our safety,
and our country’s heritage, for all of us.
Bless them abundantly
for the hardships they faced,
for the sacrifices they made
for their many different contributions
to America’s victories
over tyranny and oppression.
We respect them, we thank them,
we honor them, we are proud of them,
and we pray that you will watch over
Spoken these special people
and bless them with peace and happiness.
