Lord, when are you gonna give me that thing? When am I gonna get that?
That self, self, self, you can’t bless like that. Bless god and trust him to take care of it.
He says, seek me first and I’ll add the rest.
Bless, anyway.
I know those who are being tortured and tortured and one they would they would wake them up in in Eastern Europe in the communist prison, wake them up and take them in for interrogation.
And they were just just to harass them in the middle of the night.
They took them in and took this woman in and said, alright, Ontario, what were you dreaming about?
And she says and I know this firsthand, she says, I was dreaming about you.
I was dreaming that I went into the field and I got flowers and gave you flowers.
And he says, you idiot. You fool. You’re never gonna be free. Never gonna do that.
It’s never gonna happen. Well, it ends up. She was set free, and it ends up. Communist was overthrown.
Communism The guy was almost in hiding. She comes back, visits him, and brings some flowers.
Blessing, bless, and curse not.
Less those who curse you because you’re a living blessing in every way.
There was a stories told of a a also in the communist nations under persecution where a where a child had lost his parents who were killed by the communist And he comes also with a gift for them that what are you doing?
And he says, well, my father and mother said we must love and bless our enemies. Blessing.
Bless no matter what. Don’t let the enemy steal the fact that you are a blessing, and the blessing god has for you.
Blessings bring life, bring joy, bring health.
They bring blood they the effect of you in this world should be bringing shalom life to people, making people fruitful, because you are a blessing of god.
Blessings are not self condemning. They don’t even put themselves down.
Have you heard a blessing saying blessed is the lord?
I’ve got who’s high and exalted, but I’m a jerk. You’ll never hear that.
Because that would be divided. That’s not what a blessing focuses on.
We we have to we have to repent of sin and condemn the sin but it’s not god’s will that you dwell on yourself all the time and beat yourself down all the time.
You repent and you bless god.
A blessing isn’t looking at itself to to to to to to magnify itself, glorify itself, or condemn itself.
It’s not focused on itself. It’s focused on god. God’s will is that you’re focused on him.
So even self condemnation, dwelling in yourself all the time, that’s just as bad as self pride in the end because god doesn’t wanna you to be focused on, like, a circle on yourself.
He wants you to be a blessing. A blessing doesn’t focus on its needs of blessing.
Focuses on fulfilling on blessing at all times. Blessings don’t get bent out of shape.
When things don’t go right, when things are when someone you’re in a traffic, when a blessing’s in a traffic jam, doesn’t go crazy and say, oh, I gotta be there.
I gotta be there. And then being a blessing and blows its witness. It’s not a blessing anymore.
A blessing is in focus on getting when I’m gonna be married.
Lord, when are you gonna give me that thing? When am I gonna get that?
That self, self, self, you can’t bless like that. Bless god and trust him to take care of it.
He says, seek me first and I’ll add the rest.
Blessings You know?
I mean, if you’re living too blessed to give, how can you get upset?
Because somebody took something from you, you’re giving.
You know, if you’re giving, how can anybody rob you?
If you’re giving, how can anybody defraud you of anything you’re living there to give. You’re here to bless.
You understand? Kinda takes the thing of it if that’s what you remember. That’s what you’re there for.
You don’t have to get there. You don’t have to get this. Get this. To get this for the ministry.
You have to give is what you have to do at all times.
I was trying to work today on ministry and getting ready in the message.
Am I youngest son comes down to the office and just he doesn’t care that I’m trying to work.
Doesn’t matter. He’s trying to scare me. With a rubber spider. Nice.
Putting it all over, putting it on the computer. Now I hate spiders.
I know this is a toy, but even as a toy, I despise it.
Anything with eight legs is a problem. 6 legs fine. I have the 2 legs. Forget it.
But I’m trying to work. He’s putting the spider all over by my scariest scariest, and then his Then his son comes down and he starts to see us as a machine that makes smoke, and he’s trying to make me think the house is on fire.
And the whole family’s down. And I’m like, okay. I have a limited time to get this done.
I’m trying to and I’m going back and forth in my mind. Don’t don’t mess it up, Jonathan.
You know, like, I have to do this. I have work. I have to minister, but wait a minute.
I can’t stop being a blessing because I wanna be a blessing later. I’m a lord.
Lord helped me let not a word go out of my mouth.
And finally, Renata said, we have to let daddy work down.
Then they came down again, but the key is that all times, remember what you’re here for.
Your purpose is not to get from a to b in a car, and there’s a traffic jam so you lose it.
Your purpose is to praise god and be a blessing in the traffic jam and at all times.
And then how can they take away your peace?
The way of blessing is actually the way of joy and the way of peace at all times.
Blessing. You know, that a lot of the blessings are Thanksgiving that they there are blessings that all it is is giving thanks to god.
You know, the word the word Jew, yahuti means basically someone who praises god, someone who gives thanks to god.
That’s what it means. It comes from the word or which means to give thanks to god.
That’s what it means. Uh, thanksgiving. There are people who they they’re your prime identity.
If you are born again, you’re a spiritually Jewish, and that means your prime identity is someone who praises god.
It’s not anything else. It’s not whether you’re a man or a woman or what your job is.
It’s that you your life praises god.
And it conned the word Jew, yahuda, coming from yada or todah, which thanksgiving, actually, as it comes from the word yad, which is the hand.
Which is speaking it speaks about raised hand praising god.
And a hand that is open, there’s some different kinds of words for hands, but yada or yad means an open hand, meaning the same hand that praises god, the same life that praises god is gonna be open to be blessed and received from god.
The open hand. What else does a blessing do?
A blessing gives thanks, but also there are blessings that specifically consecrate, make holy, make hollow.
It says god blessed the 7th day, and he made it holy. He hallowed it.
It says, what’s the fame the famous prayer we are told, our father who art heaven, hallowed.
First thing that is done in that, first thing you do in that blessing, first thing you do is hallowed.
Hello, sanctified, make holy, blessings, make holy.
The blessing is said over the Sabbath as god did, And so the in the Hebrew home, the orthodox, or observing Jewish person, they say the blessing over the Sabbath at the beginning, to hollow sanctify the Sabbath.
It’s called the the kiddish, and the kiddish comes from kadoj, which means holy.
Make it we make it holy by the blessing. It’s blessing sanctify.
So, therefore, what does it tell you?
It’s, I mean, even when when Messiah, during the last supper, what did it say?
It says he lifted up the bread and gave thanks.
Well, what that’s speaking of specifically is he lifted up the bread and he said the blessing of thanks, which is called the Mozy and the other one, you know, with as this call, the kiddish, same thing.
It makes it holy sanctifies it It’s not about the it’s not the bread. It’s the blessing that does it.
It’s not about the situation in your life that makes your life or breaks your life.
It’s the blessing you say over it. What it’s saying is your life is not determined by your circumstances.
A blessing takes a circumstance and makes it holy. It sanctifies it.
So what is it saying? If you’re a living blessing, it means where you walk What you’d you out you make situations wholly by the power of god.
Situations can be terrible, but you with god’s spirit make them holy. Hi.
