Jesus, Stay Close to Me Tonight

At the end of the day, when everything becomes quiet and your body begins to slow down, you may feel the weight of what you have carried. The responsibilities, the thoughts, the worries for your loved ones, and the quiet concerns that often feel stronger at night. But even in these moments, you are not alone. Jesus is with you. He is the light of the world, and His light still shines in every dark place.

Lord Jesus, as this day comes to an end, I come to You seeking comfort and peace. I lay down every task, every thought, and every burden I have carried since this morning. I invite You into this quiet moment. Please stay close to me tonight and fill this place with Your peace. The world may still be busy, but right now, I choose to rest in Your presence.

You know everything about this day. You know every conversation, every challenge, and every worry that is still in my heart. I surrender all of it into Your hands. I do not want to carry today’s stress into tomorrow. So I let it go and choose to trust You. Please calm my mind and quiet every anxious thought. Replace my worries with Your peace.

Your Word says that You are my light and my salvation, so I do not need to be afraid. Even in the darkness, You are with me. Your presence removes fear and brings peace to my heart. Help me to truly believe this, so that I can rest without worry.

Tonight, I ask for Your protection over my home, my family, and my mind. Please watch over us as we sleep. Keep us safe from harm, from fear, and from anything that tries to disturb our rest. Surround us with Your presence and let this place be filled with peace.

Lord, I also ask that You give my body true rest. Help me relax. Remove all tension. Restore my strength and renew my energy. Let my sleep be deep, calm, and refreshing.

Thank You, Jesus, because I am never alone. Even in the quiet of the night, You are with me. You hold me, You guide me, and You care for me. I trust You completely.

Tonight, I release everything.
I release my worries.
I release my fears.
I release my need to understand everything.

I choose to rest in You.

If I wake during the night, remind me that You are near. Let my first thought be peace, not worry. Keep my heart calm and my spirit at rest.

Thank You for Your love, for Your protection, and for Your presence. I close my eyes with peace, knowing that You are watching over me.

In Your holy name, I pray,
Amen.

Help me get money in my checking account. And let our moving into a new place be smooth.

May the Lord provide for your financial needs and bring money into your account at the right time. May He open doors of provision, favor, and unexpected help so that every expense is covered.

May your move into a new place be smooth, peaceful, and well-organized. May every detail fall into place, and may your new home be filled with comfort, stability, and blessing.

I have been waiting patiently since April 6th , for test results from am endoscopy. I trust and believe God for the best results but the possibility of cancer is in the back of my mind, it could also be a bleeding ulcer. I believe I’m praying bout my in belief.

May the Lord surround you with peace as you wait for these results. Waiting can be one of the hardest places to stand, especially when your mind keeps going to worst-case fears. God sees both your faith and your struggle, and He is not distant from either.

May every anxious thought be calmed, and may His peace guard your heart and mind. Even in uncertainty, may you feel held, not alone.

We ask for good results—favor, healing, and that what is found is treatable and manageable. May the doctors have clarity and wisdom, and may your body be strengthened.

And where you feel “belief and unbelief” at the same time, may God meet you there with compassion. Faith doesn’t mean you never feel fear—it means you keep turning back to Him in the middle of it.

May hope rise, may fear loosen its grip, and may peace stay with you as you wait.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
