Prayer of the Day:

Father God, Your Word says that You never sleep nor slumber. Help me to relax and trust You to strengthen me and protect me all the days of my life. Help me to trust Your plan and find peace in Your care, amen.

O’ Lord, thank you for this beautiful Friday morning. Today is a new day and I ask for your hand to guide me. Give me the wisdom needed today to make decisions that are part of Your will for my life. Bless those I interact with at work and home. In Jesus name, amen.

Friday Morning Prayers

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people – Ephesians 1:18

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Lord, blessed and praised be you this morning for this new dawn you have given me through the vastness of your love.
Thank you for the joy of waking up and feeling embraced by you.
Thank you, my God, for filling me with the renewing breath that allows me to continue living.
I take refuge in your love and surrender to it without reservation, letting your light of mercy flood my heart.
Show me how much you love me and all that you have done and can continue to do in my heart.
Lord, I pray for those who are dying today, do not let them leave this life with anger, resentment, or regrets.
May their souls be freed from all earthly attachments so they can be fully with you for eternity.
My God, mold me according to your will, that you may be present in my thoughts.
I want to live in your grace, may my attitudes reflect your presence in my life, and may all you grant me be because of the love you have for me.

Today, I ask for your holy intervention to protect and care for all my neighbors who are homeless, whether they are adults or children.
Do not abandon them, my Lord, be present in their daily lives so they do not suffer from lack.
Give them what they need to live well and place kind people in their paths to help them.
I am not worthy for you to enter my house, but you have chosen to love me as I am.
Therefore, trusting in your mercy, I give you my heart and my entire life.
Take my life, take all that I decide to undertake, may you be the one guiding and leading me to live in communion with you.
I need you to encourage me, to make me feel that I am yours, that you are always by my side.
This morning, I humbly ask for all those who are unjustly deprived of their freedom.
Give them patience in their situation, and do not let hope escape from their eyes.
Adored be you this morning for accompanying me every day, giving me strength and courage to face my life.
You give me the clarity to move forward and to reach wherever you want me to go.
Thank you for this opportunity to love, forgive, fight, and live alongside those who mean so much to me.
I belong to you, Lord, I trust in the blessings you are pouring out on me and my loved ones at this moment to make this day the best.
Thank you for listening to me and for helping me.
Thank you for being by my side no matter the adversities.
Accompany me throughout my day, my Lord, so that the work of my hands may build your kingdom of love.
Amen.

  1. I am asking for prayers for myself, I need a healing touch from the Lord almighty, that he will touch my whole body with his healing hands. My hypothyroidism is pretty high, I have tried dieting to eat what they told me eat and do. However, upon another revealed that it was higher than expected. I could use words of encouragement as well; I am ready to give up. Please continue to pray for his healing touch.

    Thank you,
    Susan Mckenrick
