Billy Graham Daily Devotional – October 11, 2026
On this October morning, as a new week stretches out ahead of you, the Lord is leaning in closer than you feel. Maybe you woke up with worries about your family, your health, your finances, or the future of our nation. Perhaps you feel the ache of regret or the sting of disappointment. Yet the same God Billy Graham faithfully preached about for decades is still whispering to your heart, “I am with you.” Today’s devotional is an invitation to pause, breathe, and let God’s unshakable promises settle deeper than your fears. You are not forgotten. You are not unseen. Right now, where you sit, His grace is reaching for you.
Anchored in an Unchanging Promise
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8, ESV) Billy Graham built his entire ministry on this truth: while the world changes, Christ does not. Governments rise and fall. The economy goes up and down. Our emotions shift by the hour. But the Savior who walked the dusty roads of Galilee, who died and rose again, who transformed millions of lives through the Gospel preached in stadiums across America—that Savior has not changed His heart toward you. This verse is a rock under your feet. When you feel tossed by bad news or personal battles, remember that Jesus’ love for you is not up for revision. His cross is still enough. His resurrection is still victorious. His presence is still near.
Living Out Steady Faith in an Unsteady World
Faith is not pretending everything is fine; it is choosing to trust God when everything is not. Billy Graham often said, “I have read the last page of the Bible. It is all going to turn out all right.” That confidence can shape how you live today in very practical ways. When anxiety rises, you can pause and say, “Lord, I choose to trust You right now.” When you scroll through headlines that stir fear, you can decide to open God’s Word instead and feed your soul with truth. When you’re tempted to complain, you can thank God for even one small blessing. As you do these simple things, your heart learns to lean, not on your understanding, but on His faithfulness. Over time, this daily leaning becomes a lifestyle of peace.
Drawing Near in Faith and Spiritual Hunger
Father, in Jesus’ name, I bring my heart to You anew today. Stir up in me a deeper hunger for Your presence and Your Word. Help me, like countless people who heard Billy Graham’s message, to surrender every room of my life to Christ. Strengthen my faith where it is weak. Expose the lies I have believed about myself, about others, and about You. Replace them with Your truth. Grow in me a love for prayer, for worship, and for obedience. Teach me to walk by faith, not by sight, trusting that Your plans for me are good, even when I cannot see the full picture. May my life quietly testify to Your saving grace and steady hope.
Covering Our Homes with God’s Peace
Lord, I lift my family and loved ones before You. You see every marriage under strain, every child struggling, every broken friendship, every lonely heart. Bring Your peace into our homes like a gentle but mighty river. Heal old wounds, soften hard hearts, and restore communication where there has been distance or misunderstanding. Protect our families from division, bitterness, and unforgiveness. Teach us to speak life instead of criticism, encouragement instead of harsh words. May our homes in this nation be places where Your name is honored, Your Word is welcomed, and Your love is felt. Surround those who are far from You with believers who will point them to Christ with wisdom and kindness.
Health, Healing, and Inner Strength
Gracious Lord, You are the Great Physician. I bring my body, mind, and emotions before You. For every diagnosis, every chronic pain, every sleepless night, and every silent struggle, I ask for Your healing touch. Grant wisdom to doctors, nurses, and caregivers. Strengthen immune systems, calm anxious thoughts, and lift the heaviness of depression and discouragement. For those facing surgery, treatments, or long recoveries, surround them with Your comfort and courage. Help me honor You with my body—through rest, wise choices, and gratitude for the health I do have. Above all, fill me with the assurance that nothing in my health journey can separate me from Your love.
