THE SACRIFICE OF LOVE | Jonathan Cahn Sermon
The Sacrifice of Love
“You see, the one who wills for judgment is man, not God. The heart of God wills for salvation. Greater than His judgments are His compassions.”
Well, you say when you have a chance to share the word, you share the gospel and you hold back because you might be rejected.
Who are you? What are you saying is more important? You’re saying their opinion is more important than God’s.
Now, I can say now, now, now before you get, you know, I wanna say this is listen, Peter was that Peter was that?
But he still, he came back and he loved God, ok? But he had to deal with that. Ok?
So, so it does, your heart may want God but you have to choose because you’re putting something else first.
When you do that, it’s dishonoring God, it’s dishonoring.
It was dishonoring Messiah when Peter cared more about the rejection of men than the love of God.
And then the, the then standing with God, would you suffer persecution?
Well, you better be, you better be well ready to because that’s the way without revival.
That’s where things are going. You better be ready to stand for God. That’s not a bad thing.
It’s a good thing because all the great people in the bottom, just about all the great people stood for God and, and they paid that price and that showed where they were at, it purifies you.
Would you give up your life for God when you have the chance to speak?
And you might say, well, I’ll give my life.
But then when, then when you have a chance to share the word, start sharing the word even though they may reject it.
You know, they say, you know, in courting a woman, my love, no, nothing will ever keep us apart.
Not the strongest chain will ever keep me.
Not the wildest, the, the, the, the whatever it is not the armies of the world, not the, the, the greatest distance will ever keep me apart from you and the one.
Oh, that’s beautiful. You coming over tonight? No, I can’t. Why not? It’s raining. Nothing.
We say nothing will keep you, Lord. Nothing will keep me from you. Um You know, we’ll do that.
You know, hey, you’re going to service tonight. No. Why it’s raining? Ok, God here, rain here. Ok?
When there’s love you give you, you do it joyfully. You, you, it’s not a chore.
You know, when you don’t love, it’s a chore. When you love God, it’s a, it’s not a chore.
It’s a joy to do the things of God to serve him is not a chore. It’s a joy.
If you love him, if you love him, John 14 says he says, if you love me, keep my commandments, well, that’s another thing too.
If you are loving him, then you are. That’s shown by what if you’re following? If you’re not following?
