Steven Furtick Daily Devotional — November 01, 2026
If this new day feels a little heavy on your heart, you are not alone. God already sees the emails waiting in your inbox, the conversations you’re dreading, the bills on your counter, and the quiet worries you haven’t told anyone about. Right here, right now, He is inviting you to slow down, breathe, and let Him speak into the places that feel uncertain. This devotional is a moment to step away from the noise and lean into the voice of the One who still moves mountains, opens doors, and holds you steady in every storm. Today, God wants to remind you that you are not stuck, you are not forgotten, and you are certainly not fighting alone.
Anchored By A Better Word
“For we live by faith, not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7, NIV) When what you see doesn’t look like what God promised, this verse becomes more than a memory verse—it becomes a lifeline. Faith doesn’t deny reality; it refuses to let reality have the final word. Maybe you’re staring at a doctor’s report, a shrinking bank account, or a relationship that feels like it’s slipping through your fingers. God is not asking you to pretend it doesn’t hurt. He’s asking you to trust that what He has spoken over your life is stronger than what you see right now. Faith is choosing to believe that God is already working in the details you can’t see yet, orchestrating an outcome that will reveal His goodness in ways you never expected.
When Your Heart Feels Stuck In The Middle
Most of us don’t struggle as much at the beginning or the end—it’s the middle that wears us down. The middle of the waiting, the middle of the process, the middle of the story. Today, if you feel stuck in “the middle,” be encouraged: God does some of His deepest work there. This is where trust is built and roots grow strong. Instead of asking, “God, why isn’t anything changing?” consider praying, “God, what are You growing in me right now?” You can practice this in small ways today: pause before reacting, invite God into your commute, whisper His name when anxiety starts to rise. Your days begin to shift when you choose to treat each ordinary moment as a fresh place to meet an extraordinary God.
Lord, Grow My Faith Today
Father, I bring You my doubts, my questions, and the places where my faith feels thin. I don’t want to live controlled by fear, insecurity, or what I see in front of me. Strengthen my trust in You. Teach me to walk by faith today—to speak words of life, to think thoughts that align with Your promises, and to step out in obedience even when I don’t have the full picture. Form Christ in me. Grow my desire for Your presence, Your Word, and Your ways. Help me lean on Your character when I don’t understand Your timing. Let everything I face today become an opportunity for my faith to stretch, deepen, and mature.
Grace Over My Home
Lord Jesus, I lift my family and loved ones to You. Cover our home with Your peace that silences confusion and tension. Heal unspoken hurts, soften hardened places, and help us forgive quickly and completely. Where there has been misunderstanding, bring clarity. Where there has been distance, draw us close again. Teach us to speak gently, to listen with compassion, and to love like You love us. Protect our marriages, our children, our parents, our friendships. Let our home be a place where Your presence is welcome, where laughter returns, and where Your Word shapes the atmosphere more than worry, screens, or stress.
Healing For Body And Soul
God, I place my health—physical, emotional, and mental—into Your hands. For every ache, every diagnosis, every secret fear, I ask for Your healing power to move. Strengthen my body today. Restore what is weak, renew what is tired, and calm what is overwhelmed. For anxiety, bring peace. For depression, bring hope. For sleepless nights, bring deep rest. Help me care for this body You’ve given me with wisdom and discipline. Remind me that I am not defined by my symptoms, my past, or my limitations, but by Your love and Your purpose for my life.
God Of My Work And Wallet
Lord, I invite You into my work, my schedule, and my finances. Give me favor with bosses
