Creflo A. Dollar Daily Devotional – October 17, 2026
Right where you are today—whether you’re full of joy, worn out, or somewhere in between—God sees you. He knows the bills on your table, the diagnosis you’re battling, the tension in your home, and the dreams you quietly wonder if you’ll ever see. You’re not reading this by accident. The Holy Spirit is drawing you into a fresh moment of faith and rest in Jesus. As you lean in today, let these words remind you that your life is held securely in the hands of a faithful God who does not change, who does not lie, and who never abandons His children.
Anchored in God’s Unchanging Promise
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8, NKJV) This single verse has the power to settle a racing mind. Everything around us shifts—economies rise and fall, people walk in and out of our lives, health can feel fragile—but Jesus does not change. The same Savior who calmed storms, opened blind eyes, forgave sinners, and fed multitudes is your Savior today. When fear shouts that you’re alone, this verse stands like a rock in the middle of the storm, declaring: what He was then, He is now, and He will forever be. His love, His power, His mercy, and His commitment to you remain constant. You don’t have to guess how He feels about you; the cross settled it forever.
Living with Steady Faith in an Unsteady World
Because Jesus never changes, you don’t have to live tossed around by circumstances. Faith is not pretending problems don’t exist; faith is choosing to trust what God has said above what you see and feel. Today, when anxiety creeps in, answer it with Scripture. When you’re tempted to complain, choose gratitude. When you want to run from God, run to Him instead. Invite Him into ordinary moments: your commute, your lunch break, your conversations with your spouse and kids. Ask, “Lord, what are You saying right here, right now?” As you do, your heart becomes anchored. You’ll find yourself reacting less out of fear and more out of confidence in His Word. That’s how spiritual growth happens—small, consistent steps of trust in a faithful God.
Drawing Near in Faith and Growing in Grace
Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, I come to You today believing that You are good, and that You reward those who diligently seek You. Strengthen my faith where it feels weak. Help me trade doubt for trust, worry for worship, and panic for Your peace. Holy Spirit, reveal Jesus to me more clearly. Open my eyes to see Your hand in my daily life. Teach me to love Your Word, to hear Your voice, and to respond quickly when You lead. Grow me beyond spiritual boredom and into a living, vibrant relationship with You. I surrender old habits, bitterness, and unbelief. Shape my desires so they line up with Your will. Let the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—show up in how I think, speak, and act today. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Covering Our Homes with God’s Peace
Lord, I lift my family and loved ones to You right now. You know every story, every hurt, every secret fear. I ask for Your peace to reign in our home. Heal broken relationships, soften hard hearts, and restore what the enemy has tried to destroy. Protect our marriages from division and resentment. Give parents wisdom, patience, and grace to lead their children in truth and love. Guard our children and grandchildren from confusion, bullying, and destructive influences. Let forgiveness flow like a river in our household. May our home be a refuge—a place where Your presence is felt, Your name is honored, and Your love is evident in the way we treat each other. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Health, Healing, and Inner Strength
Heavenly Father, I bring my body, mind, and emotions before You. You are Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals. I ask You to touch every place of pain, sickness, and weakness. For anyone facing chronic illness, cancer, heart issues, or any disease, I speak healing in the name of Jesus. Let every cell line up with the finished work of the cross. Strengthen immune systems, restore energy, and break the power of anxiety, depression
