Dear Heavenly Father,

As the sun rises and a new day begins, I come before You with a grateful heart.

Thank You for the gift of life, for the breath in my lungs, and for the blessing of waking up to another day surrounded by Your mercy and grace.

Thank You for Your faithfulness that never changes and for the countless ways You continue to care for me, even in moments when I do not always recognize Your hand at work.

Father, before I give my attention to everything this day may bring, I want to give my attention to You.

I invite You to take the first place in my heart today.

Let my thoughts be centered on You.

Let my decisions be guided by Your wisdom.

And let my actions reflect Your love.

Help me keep my eyes on You rather than on my circumstances. When life feels uncertain, remind me that You are still in control. When I do not know what lies ahead, help me trust that You are already there, preparing the way before me.

Your Word says in Isaiah chapter 30, verse 21:

“Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.’”

Father, thank You for the promise of Your guidance.

Help me recognize Your voice above every distraction. Give me a heart that is willing to listen and a spirit that is ready to follow wherever You lead.

When I face an important decision today, give me wisdom.

When I feel uncertain, give me clarity.

When I am tempted to move ahead in my own strength, remind me to pause and seek Your direction.

Teach me to trust Your leading, even when I cannot see the entire path.

Father, fill me with the strength I need for this day.

When unexpected challenges come, help me remain steadfast in faith.

When I feel overwhelmed, remind me that You are my refuge and my source of peace.

When I become tired, renew my strength.

When discouragement begins to take hold of my heart, lift my eyes back toward You.

Let them know that they are never forgotten and never alone.

Lord, help me also become a blessing to the people I encounter today.

When someone needs a listening ear, help me slow down and listen.

Father, thank You for being my faithful Shepherd, my constant companion, and my everlasting hope.

Thank You for walking with me through every season of life.

Thank You for never abandoning me and for remaining faithful even when my own faith feels weak.

Today, I place this entire day into Your hands.

My plans.

My responsibilities.

My conversations.

My decisions.

My opportunities.

My challenges.

And everything I cannot control.

I surrender it all to You.
