What it Means to Fall From Grace Pt. 2 – Episode 4
Welcome to Changing Your World!
Many have misunderstood the message of grace. The Church often teaches, “Go and sin no more, and then we will not condemn you.” The idea is that by avoiding sin, we somehow earn the right to be free from judgment. But Jesus turned this order around. He offers the free gift of no condemnation first—so that we don’t have to live in sin anymore. And if we stumble, we must remember the gift of grace.
If you long for the warmth of homecoming, if you cherish the power of unity, get ready for something extraordinary!

Understanding the Story of the Prodigal Son
Let’s take a deeper look at Luke 15:27-31.
A wealthy young man demanded his inheritance and spent it on reckless living. When he lost everything, he returned home in shame. His father welcomed him with open arms, but his older brother was bitter and resentful.
Here’s what we learn:
- Grace vs. Performance – The older brother had been trying to earn his father’s love through obedience. He felt entitled because of his works rather than accepting his father’s unconditional love.
- Bitterness Comes from Falling from Grace – Hebrews 12:14-15 warns us: Bitterness is fermented unforgiveness—anger that has settled in the heart for too long. It creeps in when we trust in our own righteousness instead of God’s grace.
- God’s Love is Freely Given – The father told the older son, “All that I have is already yours.” He never needed to perform to receive his inheritance—it was always his by birthright.
Living in Grace, Not Performance
It’s easy to fall into self-deception, believing that our efforts justify us before God. But the moment we start thinking that way, we drift from grace. Let’s examine our hearts today:
- Are we trying to earn God’s favor?
- Are we unknowingly walking in bitterness?
- Are we living in grace, or are we trapped in performance-based faith?
Let’s move forward with the freedom of grace and share this powerful message with the world! 🙌
