Transformed by Delight – Sunday Service

How Can We Pray For You? Have you signed up yet?

This moment is a unique opportunity to embrace prosperity and align our hearts with God’s will. If you need an offering envelope, simply raise your hand, and our ushers will gladly provide one for you. Let us reflect briefly on Matthew 6:19-21, which reminds us:

“Do not store up treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal. Instead, store up treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and thieves cannot break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will also be.”

Where we invest our time and resources reveals where our hearts truly lie. If your investments are in worldly pleasures like entertainment or hobbies, your heart will naturally follow. But if God is your treasure, your heart will reflect that devotion through your giving and actions.

God desires us to give not out of obligation or pressure but from a place of genuine love and commitment. When we give from our hearts, we declare that God is our ultimate treasure. As followers of Christ, our generosity fuels the work of the Gospel, touching lives and spreading His message across the world.

This past week, we witnessed God’s blessings in action as we served and provided for those in need. Your generosity makes this possible. As we continue this mission, we encourage you to give freely and joyfully, knowing that God will not forget your labor of love as you minister to His people.

Let us pray together:

“Heavenly Father, thank You for the privilege of giving to Your kingdom. We lift our offerings to You with hearts full of love and gratitude. Bless these seeds we sow today, and may they multiply to bring hope and transformation to others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Let us now receive the offering with hearts of joy and thanksgiving.

Transformed by Delight: Embracing the Rhythms of Grace

Today, I want to explore what it means to be transformed by delight as we continue the series Living in the Rhythms of Grace. The Bible tells us that transformation comes not through rules but by beholding God and delighting in Him. Let’s begin with Psalms 37:1-7 (NLT), which emphasizes trusting in the Lord and finding joy in His presence.

Delight means taking great pleasure in someone or something. When we delight in God, we shift our focus from ourselves to Him, allowing the Holy Spirit to work within us and bring about lasting change. This is not a superficial transformation but a supernatural one rooted in grace.

The Christian life is not about adhering to a long list of rules but about cultivating a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ. It is this relationship that empowers us to live a life of faith, love, and purpose. As we draw closer to Him, we experience the fullness of His grace, which renews and strengthens us daily.

Let us commit to beholding God, delighting in His presence, and allowing His grace to transform us from the inside out. Together, we can grow in faith and bring His love to the world.

Prayer:
“Lord, thank You for Your grace that transforms us. Teach us to delight in You and to live in the rhythms of Your grace. May Your Spirit guide us to reflect Your love and light to everyone we meet. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Let’s embrace this truth and step boldly into the joy and freedom of living for Christ!
