The Outlook Of An Overcomer // Livin’ In The Overflow (Part 7) // Michael Todd
I hope you’re having an amazing day! But if not, don’t worry—after watching this message, your day is about to get a lot better. We’re beyond excited to announce that Overflow, the album, is officially out now! Yes, you heard that right—it’s out now! Featuring your favorite songs like “Overflow,” “Nothing At All,” “Evidence,” “Anchored,” “CM Amigo,” and “Yahweh,” this album is a powerful collection of songs that have been the soundtrack of this community. Now, you can take these worship anthems with you every day—whether you’re at the gym, in the car, or spending time with your kids.
Here are two things I’m asking of you:
- Buy the album: It’s only $5.99, and by purchasing it, we can make a huge impact. Together, we can spread God’s message and place Him at the center of culture.
- Make a reaction video: Pick your favorite song, worship to it, journal to it, and share your reaction video with us. We want to amplify the sound of worship and let the world know that there are people who worship God in spirit and truth. Let’s inspire others to live transformed lives.
I’m so excited for you to experience this music. Go listen, buy, stream, and share it with everyone! This message is about teaching you how to live in the Overflow. God bless you.
Now, we’re starting Week 7 of our series called Living in the Overflow. I’m approaching this series with a strong, direct message because I’m tired of seeing people live beneath the fullness of what God has provided. We receive so many prayer requests for things that God has already promised us. It’s frustrating to see people beg for what they already have access to.
This leads me to two conclusions:
- We might be unaware of the blessings we already have.
- We simply might not believe that we have access to them.
As a pastor who genuinely wants to see people thrive, my goal is not to grow a large church—there are plenty of big gatherings without real transformation. I want you to look at your life a year from now and think, “Wow, look at all this fruit!” How did toxic relationships transform into meaningful ones that propel me toward my purpose? How did negative words turn into words of life for others? How did my pessimism and doubts about the future turn into dreams and hope? That’s the fruit I want to see in your life.
The Bible says that people will know you belong to God by the fruit you bear. I want everyone in our community, both in-person and online, to live in the overflow of what God has provided. But that requires a change in mindset. Everyone, say “Minds!” Today, we’re going to talk about how to change your perspective to live in the Overflow.
Here’s a key takeaway: If you’re going to live in the Overflow, you may need to change your outlook. Your perspective on life may need to shift. Let me show you a powerful example of this. Abby, come here for a second. Tell me what you see right now.
Abby replies, “I see the back of the canvas. There’s a piece of wood, some staples, and a hook where you can hang it up.”
Now, let me ask you: What if I told you that this canvas is actually a masterpiece? Your current position limits what you can see. To truly understand its beauty, you need to change your perspective. It’s only by adjusting your position that you can fully appreciate what’s right in front of you.
Most people make one small move—going to church, praying, doing something positive—but then stop. They think they’ve done enough. But it’s not enough to just shift a little. You have to keep moving to see the masterpiece that God has placed before you.
This is where many people get stuck. They take one step and stop, thinking they’ve done all they can. But it’s not until you commit to changing your position that you can see the full picture.
So, let’s make a decision today: We’re going to live in the Overflow. Keep pushing forward and change your position to see the masterpiece God has designed for your life.
