Thankful Thursday blessings

Prayer of the Day: Father, I am sorry for all the words I have spoken that were not according to Your will. Please help me be more cautious moving forward, beginning right now. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Dear Heavenly Father,

As we gather before You on this Thursday, June 20, 2024, we come with hearts full of gratitude and reverence. Thank You, Lord, for the gift of this new day and for the blessings of life, health, and family that You bestow upon us each moment.

Lord, I lift up my friend and their family to You. I ask for Your continued presence and guidance in their lives. Surround them with Your love and protection, shielding them from harm and guiding their steps in Your ways.

Grant them wisdom, discernment, and understanding in all their decisions and interactions today. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Bless them with good health, strength, and vitality. Provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory. May their home be filled with Your peace and joy, a sanctuary where Your love abounds.

Help them to grow closer to You and to each other, fostering relationships built on love, respect, and forgiveness. Strengthen the bonds of family unity and faith, anchoring them securely in Your grace.

Lord, as they face challenges and uncertainties, grant them courage and perseverance. Let Your light shine brightly through them, so that others may see Your goodness and be drawn to You.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. May Your will be done in their lives, and may Your name be glorified in all things.

In Jesus’ name, we pray.

Jesus, I praise and bless You this morning for allowing me to partake in the mystery of life. Thank You for making me feel that I am in Your hands, and that I will never be let go from there. I trust that You hear my humble prayer, which I direct to You from the depths of my heart.

I long to live another day under Your sacred mantle, Your light, and Your protection. Lord, I come to offer You my life and everything I can give. Remove from my sight all that prevents me from seeing and appreciating the greatness of Your love. My Lord, take away the blindfold that obscures my vision and prevents me from seeing Your powerful action in my life, for I desire to discover Your will and walk according to it.

I yearn to build a life filled with joy and peace, cultivating and harvesting fruits for Your glory. God the Father, I want to find in Your Holy Scriptures Your messages of love, so I may act according to them and always walk in Your ways. Father, I want to follow the example of Jesus and learn all the teachings He left us in His gospel.

My God, grant me the certainty that I will always be under Your watchful eye, knowing that You are always watching over my journey through life. Give me the strength that comes from You so that I do not feel like I will fall without that false security that prevents me from reaching Your promises. Help me overcome the internal and external pressures that enslave and bind me, hindering my spiritual progress.

Kind Lord, I ask that You help me banish my fears and confront my limitations. I know that if You are with me, I will always achieve victory; never depart from me. Help me remain faithful to You, give me strength and vigor so that I do not fall into temptation today and continue in friendship with You.

Thank You, Lord, for all the love You give me, for all the gifts You bestow upon me to keep going during difficult times. Merciful Father, I abandon myself into Your hands, for You are the driving force that pushes me not to give up. You are the refuge I need when I find myself in distant and unknown lands. I thank You for defending me from dangers and for making me a new creation.

Lord, I give You everything I will experience today; I receive Your blessing and await Your protection. Praised be You, Lord, for not withdrawing Your favor when I make mistakes, but instead, renewing me and telling me You believe in me. Blessed and adored be You; my heart rejoices in Your presence, my lips sing praises to Your name, for You are good and great.

Allow me to bless the people I know, as well as those I do not know. I hope to live this day imbued with Your holy love, enjoying Your gifts, and discovering Your action in my life. Good Father, sprinkle me with the water that flows from the side of Your Son and purify my tongue and my heart. My Lord, grant me the necessary gifts to overcome the adversities that this new day will bring.

Amen. I will make a small sacrifice in the meals I consume today, abstaining from what I like the most, to purify my heart of evil desires.

“Let all who take refuge in You be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread Your protection over them, that those who love Your name may rejoice in You. Surely, Lord, You bless the righteous; You surround them with Your favor as with a shield.” Psalm 5.
