Thankful Friday Blessings

Prayer of the Day: 

God, despite my failures, You are with me, encouraging me not to give up. Please help me to remember that, with Your help, I can win. In the name of Jesus, I pray, amen.

Dear God, thank You so much for this day. Thank You for being with me through every situation. I pray for Your protection over my life. Protect my life from every attack from the enemy. Thank You for surrounding me and my family with Your angels. Thank You for going before me and clearing my path. May I never forget how far You’ve brought me. Thank You for giving me the victory. I will continue to hold on to Your promises. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one. -2 Thessalonians 3:3

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Blessed are You, Lord, on this beautiful morning that You have given us, crowned by a stunning sunrise that inspires me to contemplate Your greatness and majesty. Thank You, my God, for renewing my spirit, allowing me to continue living this new day. It is yet another gift of Your infinite generosity, and I am truly grateful.

Let me feel Your presence in every decision, thought, and action, and may I act according to Your will. Lord, today, I ask for Your strength, so I may face life’s adversities without fear. I wish to confront my challenges with courage, knowing that no situation can separate me from You. Thank You, Lord, for always being by my side, guiding me on the path to fulfillment. Give me the bravery to stand strong, knowing that with You, I can overcome any obstacle.

I also ask, Lord, that You bless those who, for whatever reason, bear ill will towards me and seek to harm me. May You touch their hearts and show them that hatred and resentment lead nowhere good. Teach them that love, compassion, and forgiveness are the true paths to peace and happiness.

Look upon me, Lord, with eyes of love and compassion, and watch over those who share life with me. I ask You to protect and heal my family from both physical illness and emotional wounds. May we live in joy, unity, and fervor, always under Your protection and guided by Your love.

With all my heart, I ask You to grant me the inner peace I long for. Free me from any resentment that might reside in my heart, and give me the gift of forgiveness towards those who have hurt me. Likewise, grant me the humility to ask forgiveness from those I have wronged, for in hurting them, I have also offended You.

Forgive me, Lord, for the wrongs I have committed, and help me to become better each day. I do not want to stray from You, so at this moment, I ask for Your Holy Spirit. Allow me to feel the strength of Your love and grace. Shine a light of clarity in my mind, dispelling the shadows of sin and ignorance. Remove from me all negative thoughts and feelings of insecurity that sometimes overwhelm me.

Thank You, Lord, for blessing me each day with Your love and for helping me express the joy that comes from You. I love You with all my heart and trust in You. I place in Your hands everything I will experience today.

My God, protect me this day from the enemy. Strengthen me against temptation, so that I may live in Your grace and friendship. Amen.

Today, I will attend adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, offering my time for those who do not yet know the Word of God, so that they may soon receive His sacraments.

“My mouth speaks with wisdom, and my reflections are full of insight. I will listen to a proverb and set forth my riddle to the sound of the lyre.” (Psalm 49:3-4)

May the Lord bless us this day. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
