Thankful Friday Blessings
Dear God, thank You for this day. I often have a hard time finding the words to fully express my gratitude for everything You’ve done for me. Thank You for blessing me with the gift of life. I’ve had a lot on my mind lately. I’ve been worried, and sometimes it feels like I’m carrying that worry all week long. Your word in Matthew 6:34 says, “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” God, I know that worry is not from You. Help me to cast my cares and burdens on You. I know You’re more than able to handle what I’m going through. You hold both today and tomorrow in Your hands, so I surrender all my worries, fears, and doubts to You. I trust in You, the God who has never failed me. I will walk by faith and press through everything that’s in front of me. Thank You for being with me through it all. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? -Matthew 6:27
Lord, as I begin this new day, I ask You to strengthen me with Your power and give me unshakable faith to continue praising You.
Thank You for the gift of life, for the blessings You bring today, and for this sunrise that reflects Your love. I lift my eyes to You and admire Your greatness, Your presence, and the tenderness revealed in every small detail of creation. At the start of this day, I place my life in Your hands. Walk with me through every trial I must face. May my daily desire be to grow, to act with a generous heart, and to keep a determined will.
You are my strength when life’s challenges overwhelm me. With You, I can move forward with confidence. My God, only You can save me when I feel like I am sinking, because You never abandon me. Today I entrust to You all those who suffer under the weight of pain or sickness. If it is Your will, grant them healing for their bodies, restoration for their souls, and the deep peace that only You can give.
You make possible what seems impossible. You are the Lord of life and the One who sustains me. When difficulties surround me, You extend Your mighty hand to rescue me. You are the strength that upholds me and keeps me steady so that I will not fall. I put my trust in You alone, for Your Word reveals the true meaning of love.
Grant me peace to accept what I cannot change, and sustain me always with Your unfailing love. Thank You for Your divine blessings. Continue to work in my life, because I trust completely in Your promises. Everything I do today will be to glorify You and honor Your holy name. May my thoughts turn to You, and may my actions reflect Your goodness.
Lord, have mercy on my past mistakes and do not let me fall back into sin. Guide me on the path of holiness so that my life may be transformed each day into the purpose You have dreamed for me. And even when past wounds cause doubt within me, my desire is to remain in You.
Continue to guide my steps and pour out Your blessings upon me so that I never stray from Your way. Thank You for the gift of loving others, because in them I also discover the reflection of Your beauty and love. Give me the assurance that You walk beside me. May it be Your firm hand that leads me whenever doubt clouds my mind.
I know that if You are with me, everything has meaning, everything is filled with light and hope. Do not let me turn away from You, even for a moment, so that this day may be fruitful and full of Your grace. Lord, grant me a generous heart, always ready to serve and share with others all that I have received from Your infinite goodness.
Thank You for the work You are doing in my life. Teach me to grow each day in Your mercy and to live in obedience to Your plans. I will not fear the trials or obstacles that may arise today, because I know that with You I will find victory. Amen.
Today, I will reflect on my personal calling and ask God to help me live it with faithfulness and love.
“O God, You are my God; early will I seek You; my soul thirsts for You, my body longs for You, as in a dry and weary land.” — Psalm 63
