Prayer of the Day:

“Father, thank You that You have made me the way I am and that what You say about me is my true image. Thank You that Your Word defines me rather than what other people say about me or what has happened in my past. I declare that I am becoming more and more like who You say I am. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

My Lord, in you I seek protection as this new month begins. I come before you, asking that you extend your wings and keep me under your care. Thank you, Father God, for this new day. I begin it by surrendering my life to you, offering my entire existence in gratitude for all the grace and blessings you have bestowed upon me. Today, I am convinced that in all adversities, you intervene for the good of those who love you.

I want to learn to exist gratefully in every moment, for your unfathomable displays of love and blessing. Beloved Lord, illuminate my path; I place my life at your feet so that you may dwell within me. Grant me the privilege of meeting with you, and give me the joy of knowing that speaking to you is not speaking into the void, for I trust in you and wait upon you.

Lord Jesus Christ, thank you for the breath of life that allows me to begin a new day with a heart filled with faith, joy, and confidence in your blessing. Thank you for being my support in tough circumstances, and for giving me the capacity to understand when making decisions. Grant me the necessary gifts to keep your word and remain in you, so that you may reign and dwell within my heart. Thank you, Father, for not leaving me alone in the struggle, for always coming to my defense as a shield and showing me your love.

This encounter with you gives me the strength to live. Prayer fills my heart with joy and peace, for it is my space of communion with you. I bow before you to be filled with your peace and grace, and to receive the blessings that only you can give me. May I continue to discover the greatness of your love on this day, for your mercy knows no bounds. Guide and enlighten me forever; my life is in your hands, assist me each day with your love.

I entrust to you all the people I love, that you may continue to guide them on paths of peace and justice with the strength of your spirit. My God, I want everything I do today to be directed towards you. I desire to fulfill your will, for all my deeds to speak of you and bear witness to the love you grant me. I want to surrender my life and anything that may rob me of peace, preventing me from seeing and appreciating the greatness of your love for me.

I ask that you act powerfully in my life and show me how I can testify to your mercy within me. Blessed Lord, may your Holy Spirit guide my steps and deliver me from all evil. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to follow you and for calling me to be holy as you are holy. I praise and exalt you for this day, in which you allow me to feel your presence in my life. I trust in you, I trust in your love, I trust that you continually help me and bless me.
