Prayer of the Day: Sunday April 28, 2024 💌🙏

“Father, thank You that there is a purpose for whatever suffering comes my way, and You have great plans to use it for my good. Thank You for the promise that the day is coming when You put me back on my feet. I believe and declare that You have the final say. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Thank you for this beautiful sunrise, where I can once again contemplate your wonderful face through the perfection of your creation. In you, my life finds fulfillment, and through you, it finds meaning, for only you are necessary for true happiness.

I bless you, Father, because in your word, I always find wisdom and hope. Send forth your Holy Spirit from your abode to fill this day, so I may live in freedom and not be enslaved by my attachments.

Grant me sharpness to understand, the capacity to retain, the method, and ease to attend, the subtlety to interpret, and abundant grace to speak. I beseech you to let your peace engulf my heart so I may act with intelligence and wisdom.

In each difficult situation I encounter today, let every decision I make draw me closer to paths of prudence and justice. Enable me to act with righteousness in my heart today and heal all my wounds, filling the voids within me and granting me all that is needed for my well-being.

Do not leave me alone in the daily struggle. I need your love to shower upon me so I may have what I need to move forward. Your immense love, I implore, to overlook my mistakes and tendencies and, moved by that immense love, grant me another chance and guide me with your mercy.

Only you know my fears, and you know that often I am swayed by my weaknesses. Therefore, cover me with your sanctifying grace so the enemy and his temptations have no effect on me. Father, on this morning, I offer you my life to purify it from all that is not pleasing in your eyes.

Grant me a new mind that harbors solely thoughts of you, guided by the Lord’s will. Give me your light and your path so the decisions I make are those that benefit me, aiding my growth and bringing me closer to you.

Today, I acknowledge all you have done in my life, and for that, I give you praise. Thank you for every blessing! Glory to you in all things! To you, Lord, I ask for your blessing and companionship, to have the certainty that if you are with me, you will guide me on paths of goodness and love.

It gives me confidence and peace to know that you are always with me, the driving force of my life, who treats me with love and speaks to me of all I can achieve. I implore you to guide my steps and activities, showering upon my life all your blessings.

Grant me strength of character and make me feel loved, brave, and capable of overcoming any adversity. Lord, as I lift my prayer to you, may you pave a path of glory for me, for I desire to walk in happiness and opportunity. Today, on this day, I am fully convinced that you will bless me and take my hand.

I thank you from the depths of my heart, Heavenly Father, for once again gifting me with a beautiful sunrise. Amen.

I give thanks on this day for the food I will receive, but I also ask the Most Holy to bless those in need with their daily bread.

For the Lord is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless. Psalm 84. May the Lord bless us on this day, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
