Overflow from Obscurity // Livin’ In The Overflow (Part 9) // Michael Todd
Hello, my name is Amberly, and I am honored to serve as one of the executive pastors here at Transformation Church. We want to express our heartfelt thanks for tuning in, no matter where you are watching from. If you haven’t done so already, be sure to like and subscribe. We truly believe that God has a special word for you today. Let’s dive into this powerful message: You are a father to the fatherless.
First and foremost, I have to say I absolutely love this church. Many places might limit the Holy Spirit’s work because they are focused on impressing others, but here at Transformation Church, we know that it’s not about impressing people. My words cannot change you; only God’s presence can. When God’s presence enters, He speaks directly to your heart, to your specific situation. Sometimes He uses me, sometimes the music, a greeter, the person sitting next to you, or even someone at home with you. However God chooses to speak, I am ready to receive it.
Today, God wants to minister to fathers. It’s not just a “Happy Father’s Day” message; this is a moment for hearts to be healed and for someone’s journey of healing to begin. I am so grateful for this house, this church.
I have 29 minutes to preach, and I’m ready for the challenge. Every day, I face tough situations, and with God’s strength, I can do hard things. Welcome to Week 9 of our series, “Living in the Overflow.” Let’s say it with enthusiasm: “I’m living in the Overflow!”
I feel a strong burden from God to teach you how to truly live in the Overflow. I don’t want us to just sing songs or proclaim things we don’t understand or live by. I’ve been in churches for decades, and I’ve seen people proclaim things that nobody in the church has truly experienced. It’s foolish to come here every week declaring things by faith but not actually seeing them manifest in our lives.
When I talk about living in the Overflow, I’m not talking about material things. I’m talking about a mindset—the ability to receive everything that God has destined for you. There are relationships, opportunities, gifts, and ideas marked with your name that God wants to release to you. But they’re waiting for you to be ready to live in the Overflow. Stop settling for less than what God has for you.
The enemy wants you to stay stuck, but today, by faith, I want to encourage you to break free. God’s plan for your life is not reflected in your current situation. It’s time to stop blaming God for where you are. Some might say, “If God wanted me to have something different, He would have done it.” But I submit to you that God has already given us a manual—the Word of God. By obeying His Word, we can move His hand in our lives.
If you’re waiting on God, here’s a secret: You can move Him by following the principles He’s outlined. If you’re struggling financially, the Bible offers solutions. “Give, and it will be given back to you—good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over.” You don’t have to wait for someone to bless you; you can activate God’s promises right now.
For example, I just gave away a pair of shoes. Some of you may be wondering what this has to do with the message, but let me explain: What I did with those shoes is what you need to do with your life. God’s principles work if we apply them. Too many people in the house of God are waiting for something to happen, when in fact, God has already given us everything we need to live in the Overflow.
Say it with me: “All I have is all I need.”
And that’s the truth—everything you need is already within your reach if you follow God’s plan.
