Parting of the Red Sea who is it that makes a way the way in the waters that’s God and that’s the Red Sea nobody but God now here’s a convergence right here cuz last week I mentioned the Red Sea and I believe God is sending this message to us Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea the Lord swept the sea back by a strong East Wind and all night turned the sea into dry land and the waters were divided and the children of Israel went through the midst of it as on dry land and the waters were like a
wall to them on the right and the left it says here here who is it that makes a path in the mighty Waters the word in in Hebrew here is could mean harsh Waters Fierce Waters Rough Waters God saying I will do something impossible I will make a way in the sea god is saying I am the one who makes a way where there is no way he’s saying that to you I will make a way where there was no way in your life I will make a way where people said no way where you said no way I will make a way where it has been impossible for you something closed
something something that couldn’t happen impossible God is saying I will make a way my will is to show you my power the that the power of your God is stronger than your problem stronger than your circumstance stronger than your inability stronger than the obstacle stronger than the rough way I will make a way in the Rough Waters I’ll Make A Way in the fierce Waters of your life amen but not just a way also he will it says in Hebrew he will make a a neba try it neba I will make a neba in the water what does that mean I will make a path
not just a way a path which also means a beaten down like a trotten Down hardened path I will make a path meaning I will make a path you have to walk in it a path is you something you have to walk in in other words God will do the impossible that we can’t we can’t do the impossible is his business not ours but walking through it is our business he did the miracle of the Red Sea but they had to walk through it if they didn’t walk through it it would have just been a special effect show and they would have been destroyed wouldn’t
it change their life they needed God to do the miracle we need God to do Miracles that’s where it all begins but then you have to walk through the miracle you got to go with the miracle you got to apply the miracle they had to get their sandals on and get walking through the miracle Miracles are not just for seeing Miracles are for walking through and walking in amen only those who walk through God’s Miracles see the victory the only ones who went who saw the freedom were those who walked through God does not want his people
simply living their lives walking through a landscape he wants us to be able to walk through water now soon we’re going to be celebrating the resurrection when did the resurrection take place think about this Resurrection took place after the first day of Passover think about it what were the days of the Resurrection what were they commemorating what were they the anniversary of the days of the that whole week that was all about those were the days commemorating The Exodus getting out of Egypt so here they are
celebrating all this and you have the resurrection and it’s celebrating in the week that celebrates the Red Sea party it goes together the Red Sea parting the Stone Rolling away God made a way out of Egypt where there was no way God made a way out of the tomb where there was no way God made a way out of death that’s pretty impossible see our faith is based unlike other faiths is based on a miracle other Faith you have systems you have somebody said this I heard this I think this is based on a miracle you without that
Miracle we don’t have faith we needed God to do a miracle he did it but we have to walk through that Miracle of our faith he made a path he made a footstep he he walked out of the Tomb and we’re following him we’re supposed to be following his footsteps and his footsteps his first footsteps of Salvation was to walk out of a tomb out of death that means we’re supposed to walk out of death we’re supposed to walk out of that through the miracle we’ve got a resurrection faith that means we
we need a to have a resurrection walk God had a life for Abra Abraham or Abram abam he had his life in Babylonia you know was all Clos sir you know he’s going to live he’s going to die like everybody else God suddenly comes to him with this miracle this calling it was he was making a way right cutting through ER cutting through Babylonia to give him a miracle Miracle but Abraham had a walk God gave a miracle to David you know David was a Shepherd boy he would have lived and died yet God gave him a miracle life he said I’m going to do
this this but David had a walk to see it amen Peter same thing would have died a fisherman we never would have heard the name Peter it was he was given a calling it was above him Beyond him Miracle calling but he had to walk if he didn’t walk through it he wouldn’t have seen it so so Paul God had a life more than he could ever imagine here he had everything figured out but God says I’m going to cut through that whole thing I’m going to make a way through this life God cuts through so you what God
has for you is greater than what you’ve known even today it’s still greater than what you know yes but you have to walk through it as much as you walk that’s you much you see it God you know you had a life you know you had your old life it was its old thing it was dark and all and all and God just cut through it did he not he made a way through it out of it amen but then you had to walk through it if you didn’t walk through it it would just close up yeah how did they walk through the Red Sea imagine being
them imagine you see this happen first time greatest special effects in history up to that time opens up you see walls of water gigantic walls of water okay so you’d say well you say say they had to believe well you say well of course they believe cuz they saw it no it was more than that cuz God did that okay but then God says it’s not enough to see this now I want you to walk in the middle of it now think about that think about that their life every second is hanging on a thread because there’s
no glass it’s not a not an aquarium it’s massive water walls of water that are only holding you don’t even know what how it’s doing it and one second you’re finished your life is finished you understand they had to have faith to walk through it they had to beli they could if they didn’t believe they wouldn’t have walked and so you if you’re serious about God you’re serious about his power and his calling on your life you have to step out you can’t just sit it doesn’t work
you have to step out you have to step out on the word you have a word step out on it act on it go with it that’s where the power connects step out with your faith don’t just believe step out let it affect your life step out take that step cuz that’s where the power islah you ultimately your whole life is supposed to be walking through a red sea it started when God called you but it doesn’t stop you’re supposed to be walking miraculously you have to believe to walk through you have to believe and and for
them think about it they they have they’re believing that they’re going to walk through the Red Sea now that goes against everything they’ve ever been taught don’t walk through Seas you know they have to believe against the past in order to walk into this amen see the same thing you have to believe God against the past in order to walk to what he has for you you have to believe God for what he has not done yet or what you have not seen yet in order to see what you haven’t seen if you want something
that’s more or better by definition it’s what you haven’t seen so if you want better you got to go against what you’re familiar with you have to break out of what you’re you’re comfortable with in order to walk into it you cannot walk in you have to believe Lord I can do what I never did maybe it’s not me maybe it doesn’t feel comfortable cuz I always fail but I’m believing that I can do it now cuz you said it amen you have to believe what his word says if you don’t believe you’re not walking
you do believe you’ll walk believe the that means you have to believe the new because what God does is new dare to walk into what you have not believe Dare to Live and rise to a walk you have not yet known and walked you see there all sorts of Miracles waiting the Red Seas waiting but you got to take it you got to believe it you got to step out out and it says and God says you know the first part is who makes a way then he talks about the Chariots and the horse he says basically they’re gone there are some things that may you know
for the Hebrews what was harassing them the you know Egypt what wanted to kill them those chariots only because they walk through the sea that’s how God ended that in their life there may be things in your life God wants to end but you got to walk through amen and so the picture that first part closes the the sea closes in on the Chariots but then it leads right into this verse 18 also for the year remember not the former things and don’t consider the things of old God’s giving a word that we that you
not be bound by the old anymore for the Hebrews they said hey see see Pharaoh you’re never going to see him again God is saying don’t remember there are now there are good things to keep in mind what God has done for your life remember that the victories you had remember that but all those aren’t old even though they might be from the past they’re new because they’re the work of God but God is saying don’t dwell on the old what is old don’t dwell on why because what you dwell on you will end up dwelling
in what do you want to dwell in start dwelling on it God doesn’t want you dwelling in the old even the habits and bondages God is saying cut them loose Cut Loose even the memory don’t even dwell on your habits because dwelling on it gives it more power because it it’s the it gets momentum you see if you didn’t have any memory of ever ever being in a habitual sin you might not even think to ever do it you understand yes God is saying cut it Loose it could be dwelling on on on that failure or what you keep doing on that sin or
whatever that is or the sins of others the momentum of the failure God is saying the momentum of rejection the momentum of of wounds the momentum of trauma the problem is it keeps its hold on you as you dwell on it God is saying listen I give you permission to forget it to Let It Go memory is good if it helps you for the present memory is supposed to help you but too often memory hinders you it keeps you from what God has what is new you know the God says Let It Go I give you permission not to be bound by that anymore I give
you permission not to be weighed down without not to be scared anxious I give you permission not to be haunted by that anymore not I give you permission not to be crippled not to be limited you have my permission to let it go cuz it is no more Paul said this one thing I do forgetting what lies behind I press press on to what is ahead I press on Hallelujah now if I don’t if I don’t forget what lies behind I’m not going to go to what lies ahead God is saying you need to do that I want to do God saying I want to do a new
thing with you I want something new and better something new that’s going to nullify the old way you were living and here it is he says now verse 19 well here it is here’s where he says it first word he says in Hebrew hen or he which means some of your Bibles don’t even translate it because there’s no good translation you know behold but we don’t use that a lot but what h means is is wow it means look it means don’t miss this it means exclamation exclamation underlined yellow highlighting and he says behold I will
do a new thing I will do a new thing he God is into this he likes do a new things only God can do new things only God can create only God can do new things the power of newness comes from him Messiah saved us in the month of Nissan he died and Rose month of Nissan Nissan in Hebrew means the beginning new new the Hebrew word the Hebrew word for New Covenant kashasha orash doesn’t mean necessarily what we think it means because we we tend to think there’s an old Covenant and there’s a new covenant that’s true but
it can’t in other words something old happened then something new happened sooner right more recent however the problem with that is if it’s just a matter of when it happened then the New Covenant is 2,000 years old is not new anymore but the New Covenant is always new so breed how ASA can be translated as not just the New Covenant but the Covenant of newness and Kash the word for new for New Covenant doesn’t just mean new like recent you know what it means literally it means fresh like newborn fresh God is new the
New Covenant and in Greek the word for New Covenant is kahos which basically means the same thing it means fresh fresh fresh never aging it is always new if you’re not new if your walking God is not new then it’s not the New Covenant doesn’t get old so it’s not that means you’re kind of you kind of got a little bit separated from what the power of God because it’s always to be new it says if you’re in the Lord you are to be living in the newness of life not oldness he doesn’t say regular he
says newness God wants you to embrace the new how do you do you have to embrace what is different I got to be willing to change I got to be willing to walk a new way today when I go home I got to be willing to do something new to think new act new move new God got to do what we’re not used to step out into new things that’s how you stay young new God wants to give you a new Fresh walk a new Fresh love a new Fresh Joy a new Fresh intimacy a new Fresh worship and praise even a new Fresh identity that’s right
it says you will be called by a new Fresh name Glory now think about that Abraham Abram he had leave he was now Abraham he was now the father he was given a new name the father of the many didn’t match up with his life he was old hey who are you I’m the father of the many how many children zero don’t have anybody how old’s your wife way too old but I’m the father of the many well he had to believe that and today he is the father of all of us spiritually or physically Peter was called the Lord
said you are the rock you’re the rock well was not really you look at his life he your rock is solid he was not really solid he was all over the place but he had to believe I’m the rock I don’t see it but I’m believing it that’s the new it’s new it didn’t matter you know and the thing is here’s the thing the more that think about this the more you know if your life is not matching up your walk isn’t matching up and you get discouraged over that well here’s the thing it you know the fact if it doesn’t
match up then all the more powerful is it going to be when you go with this because you’re it’s going to be all the more new when you go with a new you understand in other words if I’m not like this at all that means I’m really have to be believing the new and I’m going to walk in the new I’m going to live by the new it’s okay if it doesn’t match up amen because you are not supposed to be living by that you’re supposed to be living by what God has the new because then you’re believing the
new what I have not seen what I have not known what I haven’t done what I have no record of in my life the victory I have not known the way of walking haven’t known I’m believing it all the more cuz that’s Faith that’s the awesomeness of it when you don’t see it but you believe it says we do not live by what we see we live by faith amen faith in what we don’t see because what we see is getting old but what we don’t see is not getting old that’s the awesomeness because when
you don’t see it and you live from what you don’t see you become free of what you see when you live by what you don’t see you become Unchained to live in the miracle of God’s power see it’s our power we see God’s power we don’t God’s power comes from we don’t so you live by what you don’t see you’re living by God’s power now you look at your Bible and you think of your Bible as a book with paper and ink but it’s not not really what it is the Bible is not a book paper and ink
that is in that is the disguise but the real the real the the real thing is God’s word is in it God’s word is not ink it is it is shown by ink but is bigger than that God is Word is Alive your Bible has God speaking in it just like he created the universe it’s in your it’s in the Bible he’s speaking in it’s alive it’s there it’s just as powerful as when he called existence into being this it is filled with Miracles waiting to happen it but the thing is is it has to become activated
in your life it’s there so if you’re not seeing the new things you got to take it you got to receive it you got to really believe it you got to go with it and let it bring forth its miracle for God who said light shall shine out of darkness is the same one who has lit up our hearts that’s what it says when God spoke in the beginning the universe didn’t say well should we listen to this you know I don’t know if I believe it you know um I don’t see it I can’t see it you know God says let there be light just it’s
all dark you’re not it’s impossible or the universe said you know what I’ll I’ll I’ll respond to it you know tomorrow I’ll get I’m too busy right now no it just did it had no choice amen but you do have a choice amen you do have a part unlike the universe you have a part so you choose it whether you’re going to go with it or not you need to give God your amen see back then the universe couldn’t give an amen it just did it but now you need to give an amen to the word of God
the word amen I’m not talking about just your lips amen is so almost I amen is a sister word to emuna which is the Hebrew word for Faith the word for faith is basically amen faith is giving your Amen to God not just your lips your the amen of your mind the amen of your heart the amen of your actions the amen of your life you’re saying yes yes yes Lord that’s Faith yes I agree it is so it shall be amen God said let there be light you got to say yes amen it’s yes I’m with it I believe it now when God said let there
be light there was no light that’s how it works there was no sign of light there was no trace of light there was nothing so how does the new thing come in your life it comes with you having no sign of it no record of it know anything of it it comes out of nothing it comes from God what does that mean it means you don’t need a reason in your life to start living in Victory you don’t need to say well hey I’m pretty good I’ve seen Victory so I’m going to live in v no no you can see no Victory there was
