God Hears Your Prayers! | Dr. David Jeremiah

Message Description: Prayer is an essential part of the Christian life, yet it is easy for us to neglect it. In this message, be encouraged to persevere in prayer and be reminded of its power.

Sometimes god answers prayer in unexpected ways, doesn’t he?
In fact, I think God finds a lot of delight in surprising us with his answers.
One of my friends, Mark Patterson said, God likes to show up and show off.
And oftentimes, when you ask him, he shows up and he shows off. We know this.
God hears our prayers, and god responds to our prayers.
And for this reason, prayer is a key to being an overcomer.
Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for Keep on seeking, and you will find, keep on knocking, and the door will be open to you.
For everyone who asks receives, and everyone who seeks fines into everyone who knocks, the door shall be open.
Pray always with all prayer and supplication.
Now, supplication means to ask. That’s basically what the word means. Ask.
In asking god to provide for our needs. Of course, we come to him with worship.
And, of course, we come to him with Thanksgiving and gratitude, but friends, you don’t need to be back spoke to ask god for what you need.
God tells us we have not. Why? Because we ask not.
And if we don’t add we have no reason to believe that we’ll receive.
God tells us that he has wired this universe to work by prayers.
And prayer works when we ask. When you pray, the Holy Spirit is involved.
And here’s the beauty of prayer. Who is prayer addressed to to the father?
Who prays the prayer you do? Who’s in your heart, the Holy Spirit?
Where does the prayer goes next?
It goes to the son of god who is at the right hand of the father, may intercession for the believer.
Did you notice that the holy trinity is involved every time you pray?
The Holy Spirit in you, Jesus Christ intercede, and the father on the throne. Hallelujah.
Guard your prayer time.
Keep your prayers constantly flowing. Prioritize prayer as you plan your schedule in encourage everything that feeds and fosters your prayer life and focus your prayers as you can.
Get a plan for your prayer. Don’t be willy nilly in praying.
Don’t just pray whenever you feel like it, because I promise you you won’t feel like it as much as you should.
And then prayer doesn’t get done, and when prayer doesn’t get done, a lot of other things get done that shouldn’t get done.
