Fresh Failure: Faith After Failure // Fresh Fruit (Part 8) // Michael Todd

How Can We Pray For You? Have you signed up yet?

Hello, my name is Will, and it’s an honor and privilege to serve as one of the leaders here at Transformation Church. I want to thank you for tuning in, no matter where you’re watching from. If you haven’t already, be sure to like and subscribe! We believe God has an incredible word for you today. Let’s dive into this powerful message.

Today, I have a word that is about to change everything. I know some of you might think, “No, the last message was the one!” But as the Bible says, “Let him who has ears, let him hear.” After an amazing Easter where over 1,024 people experienced a fresh start, and many others have been living a stagnant life without momentum, I felt it was important to share this message. There are people who have felt God stirring in them, rekindling their faith, and they’re ready for a fresh beginning.

So, what would I tell them if I were sitting across from them at a coffee shop? First, I’d remind you that Jesus loves you. Secondly, I want you to know you are going to make it. If the enemy could have destroyed you, he would have done it already. I’m telling you, you will make it. If you’re with someone, turn to them and prophesy, “You’re going to make it!” And if there’s someone you didn’t like as much, tell them too, “You’re going to make it!”

I’d also share something that might be tough to hear, but I want to be honest with you. As a pastor, I love to encourage people and preach faith, but sometimes the truth is more important than something that sounds good. People often prefer the truth, even if it’s uncomfortable. If we were sitting together, I’d tell you to get familiar with failure. I know, I know, I’m the “crazy faith” guy who believes in God’s immeasurable power. But in my experience, if you don’t have a healthy relationship with failure, it can hinder your faith.

Failure can freeze you, paralyze you, and keep you from stepping into the very purpose God has for you. Fear of failure has stopped many of you from taking action on the things God has called you to do. You hesitate to start that business or take that step of faith because you’re afraid of failing. But if you don’t learn how to manage your expectations around failure, it will stop you from stepping out in faith.

I want to encourage someone today—there’s someone here who’s about to do something unprecedented, something your family has never seen before. God is about to open doors in your life that will never close, not just for you, but for generations to come. You are about to experience a level of revelation that will change minds, even of people you’ve never met. But the enemy wants to stop you right at the edge, using the fear of failure to paralyze you.

The title of today’s message is “Fresh Failure.” Walking in faith sometimes means facing failure. People often talk about biblical stories like they were fairy tales, leaving out the struggles and failures. Take Noah, for example. He built the ark, his family got on, and two of every animal boarded—but that was a failure, too. If you had met Noah 42 days after he started, it wouldn’t have seemed like success.
