Andrew Wommack Daily Devotional – October 13, 2026: Standing Steady in a Shaking World

If your heart feels a little worn today, you are not alone. Between news headlines, financial pressures, health concerns, and the quiet battles nobody else sees, it can feel like everything is shifting beneath your feet. Yet right in the middle of all that, God offers you something the world can never give and can never take away: a steady, unshakable hope in Jesus Christ. As you read this devotional and pray through each section, picture your life being gently but firmly placed back into the strong hands of your Father who loves you, sees you, and will not let you go.

Anchored in God’s Word

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8, NKJV) In a world that changes every hour, this verse is like a deep breath for your soul. The same Jesus who saved you, healed the sick, fed the hungry, and calmed the storm is the Jesus who stands with you right now. He has not lost His power, His compassion, or His willingness to move on your behalf. When everything feels uncertain, you can build your thoughts, decisions, and emotions on this truth: He has not changed, and He will not fail you.

Growing Strong in the Middle of Pressure

Pressure has a way of revealing what we really believe. When finances tighten or a diagnosis comes, we discover whether our hearts are rooted in circumstances or in Christ. God is not the author of your troubles, but He will use every challenge to deepen your faith. Today, choose to respond to pressure by running toward God instead of away from Him. Open your Bible, speak His promises out loud, and remind yourself that your identity, security, and future are not determined by the economy, by people’s opinions, or by your own performance. They are held firmly in the hands of a faithful God who has already promised to work all things together for your good. Step by step, thought by thought, you are being strengthened from the inside out.

Faith That Holds on to God

Father, in Jesus’ name, I bring my faith before You today. I confess that sometimes I feel weak, distracted, and overwhelmed, but I choose to trust You more than I trust my feelings. Help me fix my eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of my faith. Teach me to believe Your Word above every negative report, every anxious thought, and every lie of the enemy. Holy Spirit, stir fresh hunger in me for Your presence. Let my faith not just be words I say on Sunday, but a living, growing confidence that shapes how I think, speak, and act every day. I ask You to prune away doubt, fear, and unbelief, and to fill me with boldness, clarity, and peace. I receive the courage to obey You even when it’s uncomfortable, knowing that Your plans are good and Your timing is perfect.

Grace Over Our Homes and Relationships

Lord, I place my family and relationships into Your loving care. For my spouse, children, parents, and loved ones, I ask for unity, understanding, and deep, lasting love. Heal any broken places in our communication. Soften hard hearts, mend strained connections, and remove the seeds of resentment and offense. Let our homes be places where Your presence is welcome and Your peace is felt. Give us patience with one another, wisdom in our words, and humility to quickly forgive and ask for forgiveness. Protect our marriages from the enemy’s schemes, and guard our children from confusion and deception. Let our conversations be filled with grace, our decisions led by Your Spirit, and our homes echo with worship, laughter, and the reassurance of Your goodness.

Wholeness for Body, Soul, and Mind

Jesus, You are our Healer. I bring my body, my emotions, and my mind before You today. For every sickness, pain, and weakness, I receive Your healing power. Let Your peace settle over anxiety, depression, and fear like a gentle blanket. Renew my strength where I feel exhausted. Touch every organ, every system, every cell in my body. Align me with the health You purchased on the cross. For those caring for sick loved ones, give supernatural endurance and hope. Guide doctors, nurses, and caregivers with insight beyond their training. Let Your presence fill hospital rooms, bedrooms, and quiet places of recovery. I speak strength over weary hearts, clarity over confused minds, and comfort over grieving souls. You are near to the
