Night Prayer Before Going to Bed

As the day comes to an end, take a quiet moment to rest. Breathe in slowly and breathe out gently. Let your body relax and your mind become still. This day is over. It may not have been perfect, but God was with you through it all. Now, you do not need to carry today anymore, and you do not need to worry about tomorrow. God is watching over you.

Heavenly Father, in the quiet of this night, I come to You with a peaceful heart. I know that my help comes from You, the Creator of heaven and earth. You never sleep, and You never leave me. Thank You for protecting me today. Even in moments I did not notice, You were there, guiding me and keeping me safe.

Now I place everything into Your hands. Every conversation, every task, every good moment, and every mistake, I let it all go. Lord, there are things I cannot change from today, and there are things I cannot control about tomorrow. So tonight, I choose to trust You. Please take away my worries and fill my heart with Your peace. Calm my thoughts and give me rest.

Your Word says that I can lie down and sleep in peace because You keep me safe. Tonight, I believe that promise. Let Your presence fill this room and let Your peace guard my heart. Keep fear far away from me and let me rest in Your loving care.

Father, as I go to sleep, give me deep and peaceful rest. Relax my body, slow my breathing, and quiet my mind. Restore my strength and refresh my spirit. I know that I am loved, I am protected, and I am safe with You. Like a child resting in a father’s arms, I rest in You.

I do not worry about tomorrow because You are already there. Tonight, I give everything to You—my worries, my plans, and my future. I choose peace, I choose trust, and I choose rest. Thank You, Father, for Your love. I sleep in peace because You are with me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
