Jonathan Cahn: Prophetic Signs of the Israel War That Point to the End Times | Praise on TBN

How Can We Pray For You? Have you signed up yet?

This moment in history marks a significant turning point—a prophetic line has been crossed. For the first time, entities and nations historically identifiable as part of an invasion of Israel have clearly played a role. While a full-scale invasion may be forthcoming, this unprecedented event signals that we have entered a new phase of prophecy fulfillment.

The Spiritual Battle Behind the Conflict

As believers, we are called to recognize this as more than a political or territorial dispute; it is a spiritual battle. The Bible speaks of a dragon, the serpent, a fallen angel who opposes God’s purposes. This adversary exists to disrupt and destroy God’s divine plan. In contrast, God has created a people—Israel—tasked with fulfilling His purposes and bringing His light into the world.

The clash between these two forces—one to destroy and one to fulfill—has been ongoing for millennia. The events of October 7th, 2024, are part of this ancient war, a struggle that defies natural explanation. Anti-Semitism has persisted through ancient times, the Middle Ages, and modern history, adapting its reasons but never its intent. This hatred is not rooted in rationality but in spiritual opposition to God’s chosen people.

Israel’s Prophetic Role and the Enemy’s Mimicry

Israel’s existence is a testament to God’s faithfulness and sovereignty, but it also highlights the reality of the enemy’s opposition. Revelation describes the dragon making war against a woman crowned with 12 stars, representing Israel, who gives birth to the Messiah. This prophetic vision reflects both past and present conflicts, as spiritual and earthly forces align against Israel.

Jewish and Christian scriptures alike reveal insights into the enemy’s strategies. The term “Satan” itself is of Hebrew origin, meaning “the adversary,” and his opposition to the Jewish people underscores the spiritual nature of this conflict.

The enemy is also an imitator. Just as God has resurrected His ancient people and brought Israel back to its land, the adversary has orchestrated his own resurrection—reawakening ancient enemies. The Philistines, a historic foe of Israel, have reemerged in a symbolic form. Today, the term “Palestinian” is linguistically and historically linked to the Philistines, echoing the ancient conflict.

Prophetic Patterns in History

When Israel first appeared in recorded history, it was mentioned alongside the Philistines in ancient Egyptian inscriptions. Similarly, the modern return of Israel as a nation has been paralleled by the rise of the Palestinian identity, replaying ancient hostilities on a contemporary stage. These events are not coincidental but part of a larger spiritual mystery unfolding before our eyes.

Conclusion: Recognizing the Spiritual Reality

The global response to Israel often defies logic, as seen in the aftermath of recent tragedies. Instead of rallying behind Israel, the opposite occurs, revealing the spiritual forces at work. As believers, we are called to pray for all people, recognizing God’s desire for universal salvation. At the same time, we must remain vigilant, understanding the ancient and ongoing battle against God’s purposes.

Let this be a call to spiritual action: to stand firm in faith, fight the good fight, and align our lives with God’s divine plan. The ancient war continues, but so does God’s promise of ultimate victory.

Please pray that I\'ll be able to fill out my stepfather\'s Medicaid application. He\'s been in the hospital since October 26. Actually, he came home for 2 days after the first week but the rescue squad took him back because he was having trouble breathing with fluid in his lungs. Also he was very weak and we found out that the blood thinner was causing him to bleed internally. Now he needs skilled nursing care in a nursing home but his insurance company hasn\'t given permission for him to go there. Alao, he\'s extremely frustrated and impatient because he\'s waited so long. He wants to be discharged to home but I\'m not able to take care of him because he\'s bedridden and I already take care of my mother who has Alzheimer\'s -- but she\'s able to walk. Thank you and God bless you for your prayers. 🙏💞
