Thankful Friday Blessings

Dear God, thank You so much for this day. Thank You for another chance. Even though I’ve been facing the darkness, I’ll hold on tight to Your promises. You are true to Your word, and Your word says that You will turn my tears into joy and my mourning into dancing. I trust in You, God, and in Your perfect timing. I may not see the light yet, but I hope in what’s to come. Thank You for hearing my prayer. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. -John‬ ‭1‬:‭5‬

Holy Spirit, I ask on this Friday morning that you would open the eyes of my heart that I may fully know what You have called me too. That I may understand the riches of my inheritance through Christ Jesus. Help me to walk in these truths and to be a light to those around me. Let the words of my mouth draw others towards You and plant seeds of salvation to those who don’t know You. Bless this Friday abundantly Lord. In the name of Jesus, amen!

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Lord, on this new day, I come into Your presence, placing my life in Your hands, asking You to guide me through the challenges ahead. Just as the sun rises, I feel Your light flooding my being, filling my life with hope and joy. Thank You for lighting my path with Your Word, which serves as a lamp to my feet, guiding me toward Your will.

Thank You, Lord, for this new dawn, for Your love, and for holding me in Your arms. Every day is a gift from You, and today, I want to live it to the fullest, with gratitude, striving to grow in holiness. Lead me by Your side throughout the day. Protect me and set me free from the traps of the world so that I may remain close to You.

Thank You for giving me the opportunity to meet You deep within my soul, where I can speak to You sincerely and listen to You in my heart. You incline Your ear to my prayers, come swiftly to my defense, and deliver me from evil, shielding me from danger.

Soften the hardness of my heart, Lord, so that I may love as You love me, and serve others with generosity and humility, just as You serve us. Bless me so that every word I speak today may honor You, serve You, and bring You to others. Prevent me from speaking hurtful words to my brothers and sisters. Instead, place words of comfort, love, and hope on my lips, so that those who hear them may feel Your presence in their lives.

I ask for peace and serenity, Lord, to act with wisdom and righteousness in every situation I face today. Help me remain calm and trust in You through all difficulties. I place my life in Your hands, asking You to guide me through today’s challenges. Grant me the strength I need to face my problems, and the courage to emerge victorious.

Fill me with Your joy and gladness today so I may share it with everyone I meet. I love You, my God, because You are faithful, and I trust in Your boundless love—a love that knows how to respond to the needs of those I care about. Thank You for always being with me and for giving me the peace and serenity I need to continue my journey in life.

Speak to me in the depths of my soul, Lord. Show me the path of salvation and help me follow Your will. I am open to Your call and ready to do what You ask of me because I know Your plans for me are always for my good.

In this new dawn, which Your great mercy allows me to witness, I am fully aware of the love You have for me. Amen.

Let us take a moment of silence to pray for all those who have passed into eternity, that the Lord may welcome them into His home.

“Shout for joy to God, our strength; sing to the God of Jacob. Begin the music, strike the tambourine, play the melodious harp and lyre.” —Psalm 80

May the Lord bless us on this day. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
