I don’t even know how much I could say about love.
It’s amazing what all the Bible says about love, and that’s become a big thing for me in probably the last 10, 12 years of my is instead of focusing on keeping all the rules every day, I just get up and try to love people.
Love Jesus. Love myself. Yes. I said love myself.
You need to be your own best ally, your own best friend.
Don’t be against yourself. If you don’t love yourself, you can’t love anybody else. Come on.
Some of you, your biggest problem right now All the problems you think you have your biggest problem is you don’t like yourself.
And that is a problem because you don’t you’re one person you never get away from.
You’re gonna go home with you. You’re gonna go to the bathroom with you?
Everywhere you go, there you are.
And so if you don’t like yourself, And I just wonder how many people would put their hands up and say I don’t like myself.
Let’s see. Anybody gonna admit it? Let’s see. Look. Oh, honey.
I need to keep you after class. Okay.
What right do you have to be against yourself when Jesus died to save you.
When he loves you so much that he died the painful death that he died for you, what right do you have to be against yourself?
How many of you believe you’re called to love other people?
Well, one of you said, absolutely. Well, guess what? You can’t do that if you don’t love yourself.
And I’m not talking about in a selfish, self centered way. I’m talking about in a healthy, balanced way.
I can only love myself because god loves me And if he’s perfect and he can love me, then surely I can receive that love and let that love flow through me back out to other people.
Don’t be against yourself. Come on. Give yourself a hug or something.
