Friday, September 29, 2023 – What You Dwell on
Some people dwell on evil: of other people, of the world, of cults, of the occult or of various religions. There’s a place and need to be aware, but there’s no place for letting our hearts dwell on evil. Most people who dwell on the bad aren’t joyful and have no peace. It’s the dwell on – dwell in principle. What you dwell on you’ll end up dwelling in. If you dwell on the wrong of other people; on sin and on impurity; you’ll dwell in it. When judging, condemning and looking for evil; you’ll be in sin. The Pharisees dwelt on the sins of others and they fell into the sin of pride and judgment. So ask yourself, “What do you want to dwell in, heaven or a heavenly life?” Philippians 4:8 says, “Dwell on what is … pure, lovely, of good report.” Blessed are the pure in heart, they’ll see God. Dwell on God, on His peace, blessings and love. Dwell on heaven and you’ll dwell in heaven. Because what you dwell on, ultimately in the end, when all is said and done, you’ll end up dwelling in.
You priests and you’re all priests of god, if you’re saved.
You priests, you are your your ministry is a Matana.
It’s a gift from god, and it’s a gift to god.
Does that affect your life?
How do you respond to the gift? When somebody gives you a gift, do you get depressed? No.
Unless it’s a lousy gift, but this is not a lousy gift.
How do you when you get a gift, you thank them. Right?
You thank even if you don’t like it, you still thank them. Thank your aunt. Thank your thing.
But thank if you receive a gift, so what’s the sign that you have the gift in your life?
It is that you live a life of Thanksgiving.
The one who is truly has the gift and knows they have the gift is the one who’s not gonna be characterized by complaining all the time.
Or most of the time or a lot of the time, but who was giving thanks most of the time.
A heart of gratefulness a heart that sees and everything. Well, there’s a blessing.
I don’t maybe I don’t see the blessing right now, but I see to my heart.
I know I’m blessed through this. Thank you, lord, for where this is gonna lead me.
I don’t see it now, but I know it’s coming. Thank you, lord, for everything.
That’s the heart that has received a gift. How do you say thank you in Spanish?
Casa, where do you get that word? Gracias? Grace, gift, What else happens when you get a gift?
Again, you are not miserable. You have joy.
What is a sign you received a gift and you know it is joy? Yes.
You will have issues. We all have them, and there are things in this world that are certainly not of joy.
We got problems. We have many deals with stuff, but the key is that I may deal with that, but the most important thing in my life is not a problem.
It’s the fact that I got the gift of god in my life. That’s it.
The sign of the one who’s received the is joy.
And even joy when it makes no sense to have joy, then they really received it.
You have the greatest blessing that anyone on earth has ever received. You gotta have joy about that.
If you don’t, you gotta questions. Yeah. Really, you know, but but, you know, or maybe you just don’t.
And what is it? And and just from that, the three things that are are spoken of in thessalonians, god’s will for you 2 of them are right from there.
1 is that you rejoice always. And 2 is that in everything you give thanks.
What else happens when you’re given a gift?
The more you receive a gift, the more open you are to giving.
Somebody gives you a $1,000,000, you should be open to blessing other people.
The one who’s been given love is more likely to give love.
The child who’s got a lot of love given is more likely, and maybe if they didn’t get it, they get it from god now.
Either way, but the one who’s been shown compassion more likely to show compassion.
So you so what’s the sign? You you’re a gift person.
You received the gift is that you are a giving person. Is that they’re giving. They’re generous.
They’re free. You say, well, that’s not me. Maybe you’re afraid. Doesn’t want you living afraid.
He wants you to bless. In fact, a Matana life is one that is generous.
You’re receiving, giving, and the more give the more you receive, the more you receive, the more you give, a spirit of giving, not just that you bless others, but that you are here your entire life, I’m here to give.
I’m here to bless. You’re not here to get for yourself because you are you’re you’re poor.
You’re a pup. I gotta get this. I gotta get this. No. You’re supposed to be beyond that.
You’re a child of god. I’m here to bless. I’m a child of a rich father.
I’m here to bless. Even if I it doesn’t matter about my bank account, I know who I am.
You’re not here for others to serve you. If they serve you, good. But that’s not why you’re here.
You’re not here to demand your rights. That’s may have a place, but that’s not why you’re here.
You’re here to bless others. You’re here to bless others. Give it. Shelby. Give him.
And as you do that, you are blessed. So the question is, is your life a blessing?
I’m not saying to you, to others. Is your life a blessing to others? If not, make it so.
Because that’s the only way to live now.
The one who has the gift must be a blessing, and it’s greater than that.
Because it’s written Messiah was is what?
He’s our great high priest, but he wasn’t just our high priest.
He’s the high priest and he’s the sacrifice at the same time.
So he’s the one who sees the high priest and the sacrifice.
It means he’s the one who offers up himself. He didn’t just give.
I mean, his whole life was giving. I mean, everything he did was giving. He gave. He gave his time.
He gave his word. He gave he gave hope. He gave love. He gave healing. He gave everything.
But all ultimately, it said he gave himself. It’s not just that he gave.
He was the gift. He’s not just the giving one. He’s the gift 1.
God, he’s god’s gift to the world. And you are a little version of him.
So it’s not just that you’re to give in your life and you’re to be a you’re beat a blessing.
You are yourself to be a gift. Your life is to be a gift. We’re all different.
We all have different things. That’s fine. We all have different talents.
But your life is to be a gift because you got him in you whose life is the gift.
She met sort of many of you know why I was descended from the house of Aaron.
That’s the priest. Renata, my wife, comes from a family that has a tradition of levites, the the lineage of Levi.
In the Bible, the levites assisted the priests in ministry.
I’ve never shared this, but on the day we were married, they were it was Saturday, so there was an appointed Porsche word for that day.
We didn’t know it until after or till if god goes, we didn’t choose it.
It was the scripture where god gives the levites to the priest to help them in ministry.
The scripture was, behold, I myself have taken your fellow levites from among the children of Israel, they are a gift to you.
To perform the service of god. The word there for gift, not about is the same word for sacrifice.
But now it’s about a person, a person.
And then it goes on to say, you priests and you’re all priests of god, if you’re saved, you priests You are your your ministry is a Matana.
It’s a gift from god, and it’s a gift to god.
It says enrollments present your life as a living sacra. Living Matana.
He became the gift for your life.
The Matana And so now that you might become a gift in this world, your life is to be now a walking, breathing, living, gift.
And you know what? When you live like that in that, hey, I’m here to bless, Fear goes away, anxiety goes away, anger goes away, all the junk goes away, because I’m here to bless.
I’m not here to I mean, all that You are to be a walking gift to your family.
Think about that. To your relatives, think about that.
To your brother and sister in the lord, to the congregation, to every to this generation.
You’re not here to get frustrated. You’re not here to get upset because you didn’t get something you wanted.
For the one who blesses shall be blessed.
And the one who lives his life or her life as a gift shall be blessed.
When people talk, you know, Pete, to bring this home, people talk about somebody who’s so full of himself.
They they have an expression. This person, he thinks these god’s gift to the world.
Well, our redeemer is god’s gift to the world, and he’s in you and you’re in him.
Therefore, from now on, you to live your life as if you were god’s gift to the world.
That’s true. Not the gift, but you are god’s gift to the world.
God gave you life. That’s his gift. That’s his first gift for you.
He gave you new life. Now what you do is your gift to him.
Not because you’re full of yourself, But because you’re full of him, who is the gift to the world.
Live it. Live it back to god.
My the rest of the time I have I wanna be a gift to god.
Whatever I do, I wanna be a gift. I wanna be a living breed. That’s the way to live.
Either you can never go wrong that way. Turn to your neighbor.
Turn to your neighbor right now and say, you think you’re god’s gift to the world?
Well, you are. In him, you are. Your life is the matanah.
